amateurstuntman
OK, I am reluctant to sell this. Reason 1: I love it and want to keep it but I don't use it enough to justify it. Reason 2: It has issues and I don't like selling guns that have issues. Issue 1: The double action doesn't work. When cocked and used in single action the gun will fire fine and when the slide is off it will work but when it is de-cocked the trigger will not pick the hammer up. Issue 2: Getting the mag out can be tricky because of issue #1, if you run out of gas part way though a mag you will have to lock back the slide by hand then pull the mag out. Issue 3: The slide lock doesn't work. This is an intermittent fault, I have fitted a real steel slide stop and isn't 100% compatible. Issue 4: Hogue grip doesn't fit 100% As I mentioned, it has a real steel slide stop, the original one is made of cheese. The gun has a Prime full metal kit, this is very rare and sexy. I have also fitted a Hogue grip and it has a slight gap at the top, sorry. Good stuff though: The gun fires beautifully well. It sounds amazing. It is rare. Comes with 4 mags. Also comes with a hip holster when I can find it. Has a box, manual etc. Pictures... Because of the issues: £250 posted
amateurstuntman
Right. I have spent the day in the basement and this gun is now fully(ish) working. I bought another gun as a donor, I then thought I'd skirmish the donor gun, just for a laugh. I was at "The Mall" running about with the thing and I must have forgotten to close the holster properly. Anyway, it jumped out of my holster and landed directly under my foot. I slid along on it like a roller skate for a while then fell on my *albartroth*. So, the donor gun was a bit knackered after this and I decided to get around to fixing the main gun. I have used the parts from the plastic one to fix everything. The video shows that I have now got all the safety and decocking functions working. The slide stop issue is a bit more complicated, I'll get onto that. Pic 1 Left side of run with old grips fitted Pic 2 Right side of the gun, showing scrape marks (grip only) from the "roller skate incident" Pic 3 Front of frame showing removable rail on the frame Pic 4 Why you need a new slide stop The original is shown on the left, it is made of chocolate, it will snap off just under the pressure of the recoil spring in the gun, it is pathetic. I got one from a real gun and modded it a bit to fit (shown on the right). Pic 5 Another close up of the modded real steel slide stop It is a much tougher bit of metal, you can see the hole I drilled and the material I removed. The piece of allen key was super-glued into the hole, it worked like that for a while but the glue failed. It is downstairs now with proper epoxy resin curing in place. The issue is that the springs in the mag sometimes aren't strong enough to push the new slide stop up. Damned intermittent faults Pic 6 Hogue grips with modified real steel main spring housing and airsoft hammer spring It works well but I took it off so I could do pics of the innards. Pic 7 bag of pieces Including a few hammer group parts and a trigger group. Pic 8 A spare frame, which is badly scuffed (roller skate thing) and an almost complete slide, the only bit is doesn't have is the safety That means a complete blowback engine and spare recoil rod with standard spring on it. Pic 9 Pic of the gun in its holster and the three spare mags in molle pouches That's right people, I'm adding mag pouches to this sale! Pic 10 Same stuff from the other side There you go, I don't know what else to say other than this, the price, it hasn't gone up. That's right people, I have fixed the gun and added three molle pistol mag pouches and the price hasn't gone up I will also accept swaps or P/X in the form of: D-Boys KAC PDW Stubby gas M4, metal preferred KSC Glock paraphernalia, by that I mean mags (G17 or 49 rounders only, G19 and G26 are useless to me), night sights, magpul base plates etc. Tell what you've got. Mad Max double barreled shotgun Tanaka Airsoft Surgeon buckshot rounds or a shotgun that will use them. OK, so. £250 all in. Go on, you know you want it... *edit* missed an img tag in there somewhere...
