Beretta Picture Thread

Here's a pic of my new toy. KWA M93R with the G&G compensator. Pistol has a nice feel and the compensator doesn't throw off the balance. I'm still getting used to the "giant" feel of the pistol after spending so much time with Glocks and P99s the last couple of years.

@utty: looks like you've got a bit of a MagPul PDR thing going on with that suppressor majiggy. oh, and nicely done paint job, not very all round effective, but well done nonetheless.

I just wanted to make it less front-heavy, the stock outer barrel is a heavy-*albatross* *fruitcage*. So I cut it off and fitted a lightweight suppressor on the stump. And chopped the front handguard.

The paint job came out fine (learned as I went, hence the two sides look different, left side was first), but the colors are too strong, and too yellow/orange. I was under time pressure, so didn't have time to order special camo spraypaint over the interwebs before an upcoming 24hr game I needed the gunzer for, and the local stores only had normal greens, nothing even close to OD. So I settled for some weird-*albatross* african paint scheme. Oh well. :P

oddly enough semi-desert grassland was what i initially thought you'd had in mind.

should work great in the autumn though, desert DPM works brilliantly after all :)

airsoftaddict: buy RS grips, they should fit with little to no modding. might have to get them from the states (which may involve asking an arnies member or friend in the US if they could buy thema nd ship them to you if the shop doesnt send to the UK)

JLS Beretta RX4 shorty SD

11.1V 1300mAh lipo fits in the shortened front handguard. I also made preparations for wiring the battery to the stock, but scrapped the idea in order to keep it simple.

Utty, that is one of the more original AEG's I've seen on this board, period. The paint, the chop, all very different. I definitely appreciate what you've done there. Do those things take standard TM type AR mags?

Thanks, yeah it's hmm, different. :P

Yes, normal M16 mags, but:

- a slot on the bottom of the mechbox only allows for hicap magazines, or low/midcaps with some of the raised part on the top cut off. Easy mod.

- the mag catch on this particular RX4 is weird; it needs a raised top edge on the mag catch slot on the magazine, see this thread. I haven't heard of other RX4s having this trait.

- A stock RX4 feeds pretty poorly on full auto. Don't bother messing with the magazines, just slam in a sector gear clip and that solves the issue.

Nope, they fit like a condom.

The only issue I have, which it isnt a big one, is that the screws sit really far down in the holes. I am going to see if I can find some really small washers to get them up a little higher.

Also, does anyone know if real steel grip screws fit the PTP?
