Luis21
stupid question....anyway to use this headphone to listen to music? You can't the connector plug simply won't fit into a standard headphone jack, it's too wide. -Luis
tomster
The headset is still working fine, although the wire coming out of the boom mic is getting looser every time I put my MICH on over it. Another problem is, that it seems to drain batteries, eventhough I turn off the headset. So it's best to take the batteries out after you finish using the headset. One thing I do like is the headband. It's much more low profile and thus easier to put a MICH over it. The headband on my Sordins is really bulky and I almost need a size XL MICH when I use the Sordins. But I guess it could be my extra large noggin'.
TheFull9
Has anyone tried any of these connectors with a Motorola xtr446? It takes a single pin connector so I assume it takes talkabout accessories but it would be great if some one could confirm.Cheers. I've got an XTR446, long as you get the appropriate type PTT you'll be fine. Only issue with my headset is garbled sounds coming through. They turn on, sound amplification (and therefore speakers) clearly work, but all I hear when receiving is a very quiet, distorted version of what the other person is saying, same thing happens on the other end when transmitting. Anyone have any suggestions?
FELDJAGER
Just a quick heads up for fellow EX041(comtac 2) owners. My earcup mic foam covers were very loose then I got my headset, leading to me lose one forever. I ordered a set of real Peltor replacement parts, part M60/2, and they fit perfectly and are much more secure. I dont know if anyone else has experienced this problem but if you have....there is the solution Edited August 7, 2010 by FELDJAGER
