Andrew March
Can you confirm that those awful tan patches have been changed, they ruin what would be an otherwise awesome set.
Mako159th
They are still Tan (for the moment)... They wont be soon... I would say 100% they will have been changed by the end of February..
Maple-Leaf
"SOCOM" is not the replacement for MARPAT. The US Navy is indeed adopting a pattern (previously known as AOR2) which is close to the "SOCOM" colouration as the official pattern for NAVSPECWAR forces to wear on operations in temperate and tropical regions. They've also officially adopted an arid coloured version (previously known as AOR1) for use in arid regions. http://soldiersystems.net/2010/01/07/hidin...aor-camouflage/ http://soldiersystems.net/2010/01/03/aor-is-not-marpat/ http://soldiersystems.net/2010/01/01/aor-c...-of-the-closet/
Mako159th
Yes when my first post was written the SOCOM camo had only just been announced and it was a little unclear as to what it was actually supposed to emulate... AOR2 it is then
Maple-Leaf
No worries Ian - actually, its not even AOR 2 or AOR 1 - its more of an "in-between/multi-terrain" colouration that was apparently tested and then rejected. Andrew March
Any news on changing the awfull tan patches? And any idea when this will be back in stock? Cheers
Mako159th
Sorry for the delay in responding... The Knee pad area 'should' be changed with the next batch - will be arriving 1st week of May. Unfortunately the whole of Europe has gone nuts for this kit , so it is a bit of a pain in the *albartroth* to get our hands on any (and given the fact we are the UK distributer for Claw Gear just shows how popular it is if we cant get any!!!).
