dog green 1
Just Googled PKM. Beast of a thing. You just can't have enough support guns.
Gunmane
Maybe this will show companies that WW2 Russian weapons draw more attention than armalites . Here's hoping for a RPD.
WhiteHawksan
I don't understand why we haven't seen gas or spring replicas of the great WWII rifles. I mean its pretty much a case of cahnging the stocks and receivers of a VSR or APS clone into a stock, it might not be bang on but damn near close enough for me.
Noart
Let's hope they make the PKM (if they ever do) out of steel, with high attention to detail and at least perform some sort of QC. They would be the only manufacturer of it, so if they do start making them, make them good With Kalash's latest AK74's i really can't expect anything else than full steel and amazing detail. Utty
You can just disable it, if you want.
Utty
Anyways... from the video reviews of the Ares offering, the button in the rear of the receiver that releases the upper receiver looks awfully sensitive. I can see the upper receiver getting accidentally released all the time, when slung, during frantic skirmishing, etc. This wouldn't be so bad if it wouldn't result in a broken nozzle and/or HU-unit. Thoughts? Also, the fake bolt, and thereby the nozzle, needs to be retracted and locked before releasing the upper receiver. Doesn't this prevent you from disabling the blowback system, lest you lose the ability to retract the nozzle by pulling back the fake bolt? Finally, the gun's achilles heel is the proprietary drum mag. Anybody know how the mag performs, as in how many BBs it'll feed before needing a rewind?
