Gerkahn
Very bizarre, 3 marui mags and very often when inserted the first 5-10 rounds fired will be most likely underhopped and occasionally double fed, seems to do it on all mags. any ideas?
chownsy
Very bizarre, 3 marui mags and very often when inserted the first 5-10 rounds fired will be most likely underhopped and occasionally double fed, seems to do it on all mags. any ideas? Check your hop unit, could be a torn rubber or something dirty in there. Had simular problem in an AGM one and i just washed the rubber in hot soapy water then in clean water to rinse, dried it and was working fine (also cleaned the barrel) There is a stripdown guide for the hops in the pinned stripdown topic
Masonj
I had this problem when I first got my gun and mags. I just ignored it for a while and it was gone after a few games, probably something to do with the spring tension in the mags.
crunkathon2k
Weird I seemed to have the same problem just today. Went away after firing a few rounds-I think in my case, it was an issue with adjusting the hop up- I have to let it sit a while after adjusting the hop up, or it will act weird. Maekl
I fixed exactly the same problem from a cyma m14, I just disassembled and reassembled it and the problem went away by itself. A slight hopup-nozzle misailgment causes problems like this and usually they are easy to fix.
Gerkahn
Guess i'll be opening her up then, will leave it till the new year, m14's are horrible to strip, but they're just too good to ignore.
kiffer_the_1
spray some silicone spray down the hop-up unit and fire off a few rounds done the job for me. -kiffer
bjorn
If it is stock, then try to take it apart and put it back together while cleaning all the bits and bobs. If the rubber is aftermarket, try another one. Bjorn
Gerkahn
i always stick to the standard rubber for the m14, unbeatable with a big out h nub, but yeah a strip will probably do it some good, i will do a double check with a barrel cleaner to be sure first though.
