I have a couple questions though, I am considering a G&P sentry which comes with the DD lite style rail. however, I would like to upgrade to a socom gear DD mk18 but I have heard that the barrel nut on the socom gear is not threaded right for the G&P reciever. What I am wondering is, will the barrel nut from the G&P sentry work to install the mk18 rail? anyway, amazing guns, they are all really sweet. one more thing, I want your opinions on what colors I should go with for my magpul build. should I go with the full FDE including reciever and rail, or should I go with a black reciever and rail with FDE accesories like chris costa? If you have an AR-15 armorer's wrench tool, you maybe able to force thread the Socomgear inner barrel nut onto a G&P receiver. Vice-versa with the G&P inner barrel nut. I would rather not have to for the barrel nut one, so what I am asking is whether the same barrel nut that comes on the stock G&P sentry for the DD lite rail will work to install the socom gear daniel defense rail. hope someone can help me out here. also, yeah, I would like full fde, but the problem is that even the magpul reciever dosen't really match the fde of the ctr, and miad, etc. also, the dark earth of the mk18 rail also dosen't really match, although I do realize that the rs one dosen't match with magpul fde either. I've a large variety of Magpul parts waiting to put onto a G&P WOC M16, but WGC need 2 weeks to get it back in stock. To say I'm getting impatient is an understatement!
