fiddlesticks4220
Hmmm, interesting Fiddle, I didn't know you liked G&G/Top Techs. Â Don't judge me ..... (Got it on sale for 284 shipped new)
Noveske
No FPG's yet? Â Nope on my part (I know, it's so not me). But this time round, I'm going to wait for the full version released by PTS. Keep your shorts on folks, it should be coming soon. Would be a lot sounder in terms of not having to fiddle with compatibility issues with the KSC G18.
Noveske
Fiddle, Â Does the Toptech 416 fit the PTS PMAGS properly? Or do you have to jam them in like the VFC?
fiddlesticks4220
Fiddle, Â Does the Toptech 416 fit the PTS PMAGS properly? Or do you have to jam them in like the VFC? Â You need to tap them in (not worse than the VFC SR15) BUT they wont fall freely/ Get an EMAG
Noveske
You need to tap them in (not worse than the VFC SR15) BUT they wont fall freely/ Get an EMAG Â Â I've had no problems on the VFC SR16 with the PTS PMAGS, but as for the VFC 416, you have to give it a good smack to get the PTS PMAGS in. All other brand PMAGS are a fail too. And I did end up picking up some EMAGS for it.. and they fall out lovely
uscmCorps
I've had no problems with my VFC SR15's and SR16 with my PMAGs (both old and new).
fiddlesticks4220
I've had no problems with my VFC SR15's and SR16 with my PMAGs (both old and new). Â I have tried it out on 4 different SR15's and the issue is with all of them. I have to push the mag all the way on and then a quick wiggle(very quick) to get it to seat right. aznriptide859
Can anybody say, Recce? Â Â Â That said, does anyone else that owns a DYTAC barrel think they're abnormally heavy?
RacingManiac
you need to work out more.....lol  I have the same barrel for the GBBR and it much lighter than my 11.5" G&P steel one on my short upper. With the Aimpoint and the torch its more more substantial lugging the short gun around...  Gonna get my Accupoint next month, got the budget set aside for it, and I'll be finishing my recce upper for the GBBR.... Roecar
@ aznriptide: I actually prefer the weight of the barrel. For two reasons. One, the weight adds balance to the front since I have a UBR stock. Two, the heavier metal is far more sturdy than other outer barrels. It bends a lot less and is far more rock sturdy than G&P, CA, and KA barrels I;ve had on my Noveske. Lastly part of my second reason the sturdier barrel means its a little bit more accurate since your barrel won't bend out of shape as easily as the others mentioned.
aznriptide859
Hmm, well I am only running a CTR, so it's a bit front heavy for me. Â RM, I do need to work out...that's what the summer's for

Fightingchook
this is a trade in m4a1 that i liberated and remodel. didn't want to have to many instaltion hassles, so just got new delta, end cap, gas tube, vltor sight, and 3 piece aeg or gbb barrel. Â Â barrels 15inch... 17 with muzzle. Â Â shooting 390 fps I left the gearbox stock. Â Â Â Â will probably at a rail raiser for the scope as it is a little low for bolle. and maybe a moe pistol grip. SteevoLS
Do you have any idea if those MOEs would fit on a TM-style delta ring assembly? I ordered a set of the long MOEs for an AGM M16 that I, likewise, received in a trade. I'm expecting to have to replace the D-ring assembly, but I would be pleasantly surprised if that weren't the case.
