FireKnife
The only time i have come close again was three shots in a perfect Predator laser triangle style in the upper thigh The best bit was the guy came up to me and complimented me on my accuracy, saying that anyone else with a wider grouping and one would have been in the nuts. Though can't beat my mate, third shot of an airsoft gun at a live target and he hits them not in the backside but the shot goes between the legs and into the back of the nuts. RWJP
I tend to play a mixture of Scout/Skirmisher and Sniper, especially when i'm working as spotter for our team marksman. However I've also been known to play Support when our team is a few men short and we haven't got our normal support gunner with us. Assault has never particularly pushed any of my buttons as i'm a fairly cautious and methodical player. Plus, a well planned ambush with a support gun is infinitely more fun than charging at an enemy position.
SFCHAVOK
I like both the assault and support roles, although I do the assault more often. Unfortunately, being an older player in my area, I tend to get saddle with some kind of command role more times than not.
Schultz98
I normally run as a sniper/assault. more of DMR I carry a realsword SVD as well as a kalash AKS74 on my back for when you need to lay down some heavier firepower. The dragunov's scope is used to scout targets for the rest of the squad as well.
The lolinator
I play sniper at my site. I like to sneak into a position, radio locations and movements of the other team and occasionally shoot the people with menacing guns and people who look like they are directing the movements of their team. However, the majority of my site is CQB, so there is often very little shooting from me, just lots of information for the assaulters when I decide not to act as a sniper I flank or sneak around the back of the enemy with my m4 with its extremely short barrel and relatively silent operation (I say relatively as it, like all AEGs gives off some noise)
Warpix
I tend to do Recon/Scout with one or two teammates or go assault when the time comes to that, all the while being glad of how light the G36 is for its size. Tried sniping to no real avail, the 3x STAR G36 optics aren't the best in the world for it, couldn't always tell if I was hitting my targets at certain ranges.
UrPeaceKeeper
sniper. theres nothing more satisfying than hunting someone who is unaware, or lying in an OP, passing on info, then getting the perfect shot. (a rarity for me!) some days, i will play for a whole day without firing a shot. love it. I'll challenge that, nothing is more satisfying than knowing that no matter how hard the person that is shooting at you tries, you will still have 20-30 feet of range on him to keep him in his place. I play the ever esteemed role of Designated Marksman... Armed with my M14, there are very few targets at my field that I can't engage and hit. It tends to be a serious morale killer for the enemy too. Shots coming from nowhere from a relativly quiet but distinct gun. I mean, it only shoots 390 w/ AE .25's and a rush by a good number of enemys would put me at a serious disadvantage, but lets not tell anyone that
ktk_ace
Im multi role capable but team leaders usually put me as sniper/ support gunner lol. I personally prefer being the sniper turned backstabber/assaulter when my site is overwhelmed and people going pass my spot without notice. Sometimes its a team decision to turn the odds. Now with my AUG turned into PARA config, i think im going to be destinated a scout/ monkey wrench (I either get no luck at all or am the luckiest person on the team, LOL) , I either get shot at first or go sneaking up the other teams *albatross* taking out 3 or more clustered individual before being offed. LeLionNoire
I don't shoot, I hurl rubber training knives even though I'll have a stock TM G spec with a USP compact knife kills FTW!
LeLionNoire
Or, as I did once, a guy walked in to find his face at the end of my plastic katana. He surrendered. your katana versus my throwing knives >
Atty
I'm somewhat of a scout/skirmisher, I guess. I also play with only my TM 1911, plus 4 mags. I'm generally the one who moves up or flanks, as I have the mobility but lack the range. I'll generally run up/around, climbing over things in the process, and get as close as possible, then point out where people are to my teammates. I enjoy being up close and personal, It's intense and in my opinion quite rewarding. Plus, being tiny, I've been told I'm harder to hit. I used to be more of an assault type, but I grew weary of endless firefights from a little bit too far away and my P90 died on me. Having only a pistol forces you to use some degree of stealth and agility to get close enough to engage effectively.
Josiah Hull
I play support gunner, I love the M60, and love too lay down a good cover fire. Ironically I also like to play as a sniper, mostly when I am feeling lazy and dont want to lug around the pig all day. It has been all support gunning since I got my sling for the pig though. It is fun too have a huge magazine knowing you will never run out of ammo, and if you do it takes 10 seconds or less to have another 4000 rounds loaded up. I know I am not the greatest support gunner, as I have yet to go through an entire mag in a single day, but I do provide some good support when needed for my teammates to eliminate the other players. Really fun to set up watching the other team making plans to assault my teammate, only to waste their entire team as they rush past. I really want to get an amplifier flash hider on it and make it even louder, mostly for the intimidation factor it would have on the younger folks at the sight.
Cubeman
I voted Sniper, But i do a scouting role also if needed. If theres recon to be done i'll be up for it. Sometimes some games i won't be as useful as other games so recon makes up for it.
Faire
Depends on situation, usually a mix of team-leader/DM (kinda my favorite combination, I usually give orders, then find a good spot a and cover my teammates fulfilling them).
Gir
Other, as in i go out, shoot, hang out with friends, and have a good time. I don't go to a game to plan on being a support gunner, commander, or whatever (unless its a big op or something). Its pointless. I leave that COC type of crud for my drill weekends. I'm not paying money to not have a good time.
Inventor
I play the "anti" sniper. I don't mean the one who takes down other snipers, but the sniper that let's himself be seen ^^. I do wield a L96, wich can be identified over long distances, and let the other team see me. After that, I just keep over their shooting range and I practice plinking . That usually draws so much attention that other teammates can flank them. Of course from time to time, I do like to play as a "better" sniper, and hide myself, taking shots unnoticed. GuzziHero
I play airsoft like I play with yo momma... Sorry, wrong thread. Im a move fast - manoeuvre - stalk kind of person so I guess Im a scout. Kinda big and heavy for one though. I like lightweight and fast loadouts, and despite my size I generally outmanoeuvre everyone else around me. CQB specialist, I generally carry a shotgun and a pistol, or as stubby an AEG as I can manufacture. It frustrates me when I dash into situations and others cant keep up. I must be carrying excess bulk to match their loadouts and yet Im always at the damn front!
gijohn2
Im mixed between scout and assault for the reason i use a M4 and tend to run around like a mad man across the game area i also tend to use my m4 as a support gun just because of the sheer rate of fire it has >.<! shakespeare
I'd say I'm an assault/commander. I'm a fireteam leader on my team, and I command them, but since our fireteam is only 4-5 people, I turn into an assaulter after making a plan.
Jim01
I think im just a genral do what ever guy, i perfer slower type of gameplay with hairy firefights here and there. Nothing like getting the drop on a few guys and then moving on without being noticed by the rest of the other team though ...Even if it doesnt happen very often
FireKnife
Now trying to sort out other, less well known, styles of play. Things like Assassin. A great way to learn to get in close and keep fit. Just rememeber to focus on which target you have chosen and not deviate. 'FireKnife'
biguk
I Voted Assault. But i play various roles. As i play ww2 Airsoft the general skirmish rules dont apply. Im generally the person that flanks enemy positions, hunts snipers, and also sneak in behind enemy lines and blow up objectives.
