King arms M79 * No pics up yet *

Recommended Posts

To start off, wasn't sure where to put this, so I just put it here.

First Impressions:

When I first opened the box shipped by ehobby, it was very nicely packaged and well presented.

My first thought about the gun was that it was EXTREMELY light. Second was the MASSIVE painted on orange tip.

Construction:

Everything but the recoil pad, buttstock and front grip is aluminum. The barrel, safety trigger, sling mounts, ladder sight and mount, front sight, and lots more are all metal. The Buttstock, and front grip is Real Wood. The recoil pad is comfy rubber.

The gun is VERY sturdy.

Common knowledge:

The breech opens very nicely and is fun to play with.

The ladder sight is adjustable and the trigger guard swivels.

Problems:

Nothing yet, but a pin that holds in the barrel to the rest of the gun can slowly comes out when you open the breach alot. So check that pin every now and then.

My mistake:

When I opened up the ladder sight, I didn't read the intructions before I did. I forced it to open and a part came flying out.

It was a piece you had to push to get the ladder sight to open and close.

Im trying to get it back in, but for now in moves freely.

Pros:

Cheap for the construction.

Looks VERY nice.

Sturdy

Works PERFECTLY

Just all out cool.

Neutral ( Good or Bad ):

Extremely light. Good for me, since it's my sidearm.

MASSIVE painted on orange tip.

Cons:

Pin holding the barrel in falls out when you open the breach alot. Check it every now and then and you're good.

Nothing else.

I'll post pics when I find my camera.
