uscmCorps
A LaRue or ADM mount would solve that problem. And I have both, but the screws to adjust them came loctited from the factory and I'd be worried about adjusting them without horribly marring the screw heads.
slu
And I have both, but the screws to adjust them came loctited from the factory and I'd be worried about adjusting them without horribly marring the screw heads. Â Really? That was never the case for any of my LaRue mounts. I mean, they even come with an allen wrench specifically for you to adjust it. If you want to loosen the locktite, use a heat gun on the mount.
Spartan452
you sure they weren't replica larue mounts?
slu
you sure they weren't replica larue mounts? Â Yes, quite sure. I got them direct from LaRue, I wouldn't think they'd ship me fake ones.

Kiki-Jiki
http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p237/Sp...52/P1030643.jpg finnally got my rail covers in what do you guys think?  for anyone that has the magpul xt rail panels, was it REALLY hard to get them on the rail? Nice! Although I'm not a big fan of the mico aimpoint, everything else looks awesome.  And yes, I used to have a King Arms rail and I had to file down the insides of the Magpul XT covers to get them to fit. But once you get them on, just leave them on. Eventually they'll start to kinda "break in" and they'll go on/come off easier.
Hispeed1
@ ColWombat: nice colors on that SR-25. I have comment/suggestion, when making your darker accents-dark brown, try to spray them on in random directions and not just a straight angle line. Some curved shapes, going this way, that way, etc. Some people use some netting; laundry net, etc. to add on a snake skin-like pattern. Paint the rest of the accesories you'll be putting on it too-scopes, bi-pods.
colwombat
I plan on painting them when i get them. I was also planning on taking to a game, seeing how it looks out here and work on the paint job from there. Thanks
Kalmar
Anyone out there have a pic of an SR-25K with a grenade launcher attached? A buddy of mine wants to run that setup but wants to see it in action first...
navymp28
Ohh..hell yeah I would like to see that as well. I wonder if a M203 with proper shroud would work on one instead of a RIS mounted?

IBICO
IBICO, why go with a RAS and not a RIS??   RAS is a lot more stable/solid. It got a locking back and not just the tab at the front like the RIS.  http://www.quarterbore.com/kac/kacrisras.html  The RAS is also different from the RIS is the way that they are numbered. The RAS units are numbered T-L-R-B 14 - 28 from the upper receiver forward. The Army and Marines use the RAS as it is sturdier for use with an M203 grenade launcher and other accessories that can be mounted to these units.

KTcerberus
I don't know about range or anything yet, I only had a chance to do a few tests to make sure she works. I need to get a new sub regulator gauge. i did manage to get up up to 340 FPS with the Madbull .36g Bs though. I need a better sub regulator gauge that goes higher than 150 PSI before I do much more.
