Spencerman
Ok, I have a nice action shot of my WE G36, well, I like it anyway. Obviously I didnt take the picture (so many thanks to Nelly The Jelly for that, great pics! ) as I am the fat ugly guy in it. Hope you guys like it. I recon that this picture just sums up what I like about having gas!
TheFull9
That does look damn cool. Technically it might not be a good thing, but aesthetically it's awesome, and that's what matters.

Kratisto
@Panoptes Nice G36K, I love that real steel upper rail! Sorry if I sound a bit pedantic, but that's not really the Classic Army G36K RAS, it's the G&G one, and totally unlike the real steel made by KAC. For the "G36KA1" look, change that RAS for the CA or SRC (both still slighly innacurate, but at least with the right holes/rails) and the stock for the shorter one of the G36C. ollie_ty
Maybe he prefers the longer stock?
Panoptes
@Panoptes Nice G36K, I love that real steel upper rail! Thanks for the heads-up there. and the stock for the shorter one of the G36C. Why? The K has a longer stock. The G&G you refer to - is that the 'modern one' with the slatted holes? This is my oldschool reference: Edited January 28, 2011 by Panoptes
FELDJAGER
I havent seen a picture of KSK where there wasnt a C stock fitted to a K. Its a little more comfortable with bulky armor, and I read somewhere that the RAS interferes with folding the longer stock as well. The proper Rail would be the CA or SRC KAC style ones as Kratisto mentioned

MRF
Hi. Since it's a thread for G36 enthusiasts, I wnat to ask if anybody recognise rail mounted no those australian G36 which is really great looking - I think that most of You have already seen this photo - it's quite popular. I don't expect there is any airsoft clone of this rail, but still it's nice to know what type it is, and who's manufacturer. http://www.defence.gov.au/opex/exercises/ts09/gallery/20090724f/20092007adf8298134_001.jpg

MRF
Looks like the HK low profile 'P Rail'. I meant front rail handguard - my bad - I didn't put it clearly.
FELDJAGER
@Panoptes, Yes not the slotted one, which in realsteel is the Brugger & Thomet style. i cant recall seeing anything but the Knight's hand guard used. @ MRF Looks to be a variation on the B&T design, but im not entirely sure http://www.bt-ag.ch/en/manufacturing/handguards/rifle_handguards.php?pid=338 The sight rail looks to have integrated BUIS built in, maybe this? http://www.bt-ag.ch/en/manufacturing/mountingsystems/optical_sight_mounts.php?pid=

I digged some more and found this: http://www.btdeutschland.com/BT-21979.jpg Looks kind of "goose neck" rail , and looks quite bad a..s - best G36C railed handguard IMHO. Secret solved . ollie_ty
Hows it shooting? changed the hop up out yet?
MikeLondon
It's perfect, nothing on it internally I need to change at the moment. Took a couple of hundred rounds to bed in properly but I get awesome range and accuracy out of it.
Panoptes
Does anyone have detailed images of the RS G36K's markings both left and right sides? Older 'A1' not the A2.
ollie_ty
Panoptes, does this have anything to do with VFCs new release or a general enquiry?

muffe66
Yes it´s a WE. Built before they even had mentioned a K & E -version. it´s simple and works just fine

I am sorry, but that RAS is the NitroVo RAS. At least, they are the ones who started producing it. Nowadays, you can easily find ACM versions of it. This is the G&G one. http://www.thewarstore.org/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/5e06319eda06f020e43594a9c230972d/G/-/G-03-049.jpg
