When you say SL8 rail, do you mean the extended one? thats made by STAR/ARES If you meant the normal length flat rail, STAR/ARES make one too, but I prefer SRCs rail from the KV, it comes with some great low profile iron sights. I never liked them much on the longer version, but it just...works. I always thought the rail would look better if it extended the full length, to the end of the handguard. I ended up getting both the handguard and KA1 rail from hkparts.net, and then using a company called jetcarrier to get them shipped to Norway.
