Hedganian
I quite like it. Although wouldn't it have been easier just to attach the RIS rail directly to the side of the AG36?
muffe66
Sure, it would be easier to atach the rail to teh AG36 but it would look pretty darn stupid. my version is based of a RealSteel product that aint purchasable.
Panzergraf
Nice mount, Muffe! Where'd you get the extra AG36-sight? Are they available separately or did you butcher an entire launcher for it? If available; from where? If you butchered a launcher: that's pretty hardcore, man. Kudos
Seraphim989
Hey WE owners, is anyone else having issues with their carry handle scopes not holding their zero? Or rather, it may very well be holding the zero, but the optic tube rotates when I fire, and is now perfectly upside down
raito
Mine holds it zero fine, maybe because I mostly shoot semi. I'm using the CA one, which make are you using?
muffe66
i killed a preowned AG36, sold it late to someone that wanted to try to make something out of it and i keept the sight. i wanted it Thanks, i looked for seperate sights but it seems to be hard to find my scope holds fine, had it for looong time now, since mid-december i think. its a STAR scope as told. my only problem is the RDS, but hey, i dont really need it ^^
Seraphim989
I'm also using a CA. I was using semi auto the majority of the time as well. I suppose it's technically not an issue if it just rotates around the center...but I'd still rather not have it do that. Any ideas?
Hedganian
Open it up and use a few spots of glue to hold it the right way up?
Seraphim989
I suppose, but then I'd lose adjustability. I was hoping there were some screws I could tighten or something :/
ollie_ty
I thought it was the square rubber blocks that held the scope tube secure? Maybe just a drop of PVA glue as you slide the tube into the square rubber block would hold it secure (Assuming the build is the same as an ARES/STAR Scope)
dAn1
Don´t no what to say... Okay the cheek rest is ugly I admit! Have to change that soon, but it IS comfortable Edited March 30, 2011 by dAn1
Hedganian
I like the scope rail, The RIS covers don't do the looks any favours, in my opinion, though...
Don Vido
This EoTech looks.....bad on the G36.... I would take a 552/553.
Hedganian
Agreed - it just looks too small.

ollie_ty
Where did you get the new style handguard from Chintoka?
ChinToka
Found a specialized retailer, waited for it about 12 weeks and it wasn't cheap.

navymp28
My *bramston pickle* G36: I found the rail extension parts at Echigoya today and was super stoked. Finally got rid of the rear sight from my C rail.
joss1
what kind of stock is that, and where can I get one?
Panzergraf
Where did you get the new style handguard from Chintoka? I got mine from here. Out of stock at the moment, and you'll have to find someone to ship it to in the US as hkparts don't ship internationally, but it's still slightly cheaper than from SL-8.de http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/HK-German-G36-HK-SL8-Forearm-With-Mounting-Points-187p1420.htm Don't let the picture of the old-style handguard fool you. It is the new type with mounting points for rails.

ChinToka
Thats the aluminium one with the 4 mount points? I thought it was the plastic one with the side, and bottom mounts? I think its the old polymer handguard with the side mounte and not made of aluminum. @navymp just drop dead :-p It's ugly as hell^^ But if it suits your needs... xD
Panzergraf
Ah, sorry, my bad. I just noticed ChinToka's handguard had mounting points on top too. That's a new one for me, I've only seen K-handguards of that type before The one I linked to is the new-ish style with mounting points on the sides and bottom. Though now I know there's an even newer type out
navymp28
what kind of stock is that, and where can I get one? It is a Magpul PTS CTR stock. I got mine in Tokyo from Echigoya but I have seen them here: http://www.ebairsoft.com/magpul-stock-p-2435.html http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magpul-pts-ctr-stock-for-marui-m4-m16-olive-drab.html I really like the feel of the stock.
