The internals look decent, I just want to know if the gun has steel where it needs to be and if the performance and cycling is good. -Luis For me it's not about the Steel as much as it is the reliability. The barrel and KX3 are steel, so this thing is pretty solid. Feels very good in the hands.The LaRue tube installs without a hitch on the Iron upper, but tightening down the barrel nut definitely requires an armorer's wrench or similar tool. Missing some things (pins, new peq2, mag clamp and sling), scope isn't properly attached either. RacingManiac Posted September 12, 2010 Report Share Posted September 12, 2010 Swapped out the dimple KAC style outer barrel....I didn't like the normal weight profile at the front end, makes any beefy looking flash hider looks awkward...and I don't have a triple tap handy.... So back to Dytac 16", and now still uses the Surefire style brake. Although with this brake now I can't put any airsoft suppressor on, and Dytac doesn't make the Surefire style suppressor yet...
