Kenworth W900
I don't like the rifle Ivan, but I think we all have to appreciate your photographic skills - and ofcourse I can appreciate how expensive it looks
Megalomaniac
Comp series aimpoint and that mount don't "fit" the look of the rifle, other wise it is sexy.
kingdong
Thought id post up the progress of my GBB mk18, the weathering job on the lower isnt finished bearing in mind. Â Â Â Just a quick 5 minute job.
doc_SAS
Do some weathering on the upper receiver as well, even if it's slight. It looks far too clean for such wear on the lower. Â -Jake

Leon Kennedy
Look great, but that khaki looks very light. Is that intentional to fit your environment, or just the lighting?
kingdong
Look great, but that khaki looks very light. Is that intentional to fit your environment, or just the lighting? Â Â Thanks dude, i think its mostly the lighting, i may go over the PEQ and 553 with my CB krylon to blend them in with the rest of the rifle.
theo41
Ivan, I like the rifle a lot, but I'm not a huge fan of the optic or stock.
doc_SAS
Kingdong, I didn't see it before, but the rails look brand new! Take some sandpaper that ASAP. Â -Jake

Jim01
Looks cool to me! Most the block 2 pics I have seen have a clean upper because of the old used and abused lowers where retrofitted with the new uppers.
huntER_HuntED
I'm so torn at the moment between a L119A1 project or a Classic M4 project with all these beautiful old school rifles around  (me thinks maybe 2 uppers ? )
Leon Kennedy
So I went nuts with the paint and decided that my rifle needed a makeover. I wouldn't quite call it A-TACS since the colors are not matched exactly to it, but it's a very similar style and palate. Â It's dark enough to work here, and I enjoyed painting it. It was done with rattlecans and sponges by hand. If you all want a write-up or anything, let me know. Â Edited May 12, 2011 by Leon Kennedy
kingdong
I think it looks a little better now. Â Still waiting on the MOE pistol grip. Â Â Â Â Â I think my cat agrees too but not the missus!! Â Â Â Â

Leon Kennedy
I like the weathering on that rifle. Looks great. Â My post got a bit buried on the end of the last page; can I get some comments/criticism? Thanks!
Shift
I like the weathering on that rifle. Looks great. Â My post got a bit buried on the end of the last page; can I get some comments/criticism? Thanks! Â It needs more gas block? Other wise it looks pretty legit; pretty awesome compact little blaster. I would personally paint the whole gun, but I understand you leaving the larger part of the gun unpainted to retain better resale value. Edited May 13, 2011 by Shift
hwagan
I think my cat agrees too but not the missus!! Â Â Â Â Seriously though, s'looking awesome man - Needs a suitably weathered KAC QD silencer for it 'n all.
FHairsoft1
Wow lots to dig! Cat is defenentaly FTW! The lower has a really old look to it makes me think Fallout! The upper not so much though, just a tad bit too clean still. Is there a certain look you are going for overall? Maybe its suposed to look a bit newer? I guess the rail looks "too" new also but the color really helps, just do to the upper as you did to the lower ya? Also how did you get it that way?
Scuffer
Props and +1's all round for the cat.
huntER_HuntED
They Call her......Ugly No longer have the front end though, sold it for some unknown reason (Its a SGW Stoner 63A front end for those intrested!) Â And I think I've already posted this one, but another that I got rid of!

Thanks; I have a gas block being machined by a buddy for me, so hopefully it will be finished soon. Here's a few more quick snaps I took. Not sure if the pistol grip needs paint too. I'm thinking so.
