MODDAN
Thread needs moar old school... So I got this: SureFire 613R Complete with all parts, etc. Installed on my KWG Beretta M9 (KSC M9 System 7 clone): And from the other side: Just need to find a comfortable angle to mount the pressure pad. But if I fail, I've got a spare slimline grip mounted pressure switch which I can solder onto the unit. I've also got a SureFire 633R on the way. Piccys will be up asap. volante
This is my friend's work. Based on KSC M9 system7. What he did is.. 1. remove original surface treatment 2. copper electroplating 3. chrome electroplating 4. Titanium ion plating 5. engraving Titanium plating is very special because titanium plating is about 50~100 times harder than other electroplating. Lovely one anyway. More picture will be uploaded later. And his next project is gold Desert eagle. Edited March 25, 2013 by volante

volante
Totaly awesome! How much would it cost to do something something similar to a kit? Wolf He spent about 180USD for all that finish including gold color levers. A factory that did surface finish is actually Harley-Davidson chrome parts OEM factory. PureSilver
All that money and the stock grips? Which bits are Ti plated? Or is it the entire frame that's Ti plated, and the sequence was Cu - Cr - Ti?
volante
All metal externals are Ti plated. Outer barrel is also aluminium made aftermarket part. Ti plating can make many colors. silver, gold, metallic red, blue, purple.. and many others. Yes sequence was Cu - Cr - Ti. Edited March 30, 2013 by volante

BigAl
Volante - hard to tell from the pictures but what colour does that look like in the flesh? Looks kind of like a blued gun then again it hs the mega shine of plating? What finish/plating is on the controls? Cool anyway, might want a gun of my own doing.
volante
It is similar to black chrome . Different from blued gun. And controls are also finished with brass-chrome-gold color titanium plating. Same process as slide/frame but only in different color.
