rhino
WGC are stocking them as well as the M16 and MP5 mags. They're only 30 round magazines but they'd be ideal for a Mil-Sim game.
Johannes
I know one guy who own those star mags, beside they are made of plastic the quality is superb
rhino
Box of 10x30 rounds for $40+... for that price, i'd seriously think about getting an Armalite, AK or MP5.
Johannes
how do you get the right size on the pic so it doesn't look fu##t up (profile Pic)
rhino
i used picture-it express on my computer and reconfigured it in pixels instead of cm's.
Tripod
my AK mags actually cost less than it would be to get the same amount of rounds with these STAR mags.
joeking27
Damn now i might buy me a ak
cazboab
Box of 10x30 rounds for $40+... for that price, i'd seriously think about getting an Armalite, AK or MP5. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> or you could mod your famas to take '16 mags.
Corporate_Black_Ops
Or mod the mags to suit the FA-MAS, IIRC it is only a question of adding a slot in the front to engage with the mag release on the FA-MAS.
rhino
hmmm... modding M16 mags to fit.... tempting.
aimpoint
getin me a box of those mp5 mags, and an ics mp5a4 to go with them R22Masters review was such a good sales pitch
nuclear_darkness
Hmmm a few choices there.... either mod my FAMAS to take m16 mags or mod the mags to fit in a famas...... Do ya think they will make FAMAS versions.....(yeah i know its a long shot but ya'd never know)
Catchv22
Modding the M16 mags to fit the FAMAS are much easier. Oddly enough, the newer FAMASes are designed to take the M16 mags (the mag catch holds the mag in from the left) but TM didn't copy those.
nuclear_darkness
Im taking it that ure talking about the real steel version here.
thatoneguy
I have some m16 star magazines for my m15a4 and they work pretty good. I also have a FAMAS and i cant seem to get them to work in the FAMAS. I have my FAMAS modded to take m165 mags and it does, but it wont take the star mags for some reason. I dont know why and it might be fixable.
Catchv22
The real FAMASes can take M16 mags without modification as they have a different mag catch design. It would take a lot of work to replicate that in airsoft, so you'd be better off cutting slits in M16 mags to make the mags work in the FAMAS.
Krazy L
I have an ICS m4 and mp5 and a tm ak beta> which mags work the best?
Deepeyes
I am a standard mag freek, only standard mags for me. I have an SR16 and 10 star 30 round mags alog with 2 Tm standard mags. I love reloading and runing out of ammo in a clip, i can't stand hi caps personaly. And i had a vest that can hold 12 mags and it alwayed felt empty, but not anymore. I dislike it when people where tactical vest and only have one or two mags in it. I had that same problem untill i got my hands on these beauties. The plastic is very strong as well as the spring that is used to push the bb's. The spring pushes with alot more force that a TM mag. The mag feeds with no problems and rests in the gun's mag well perfectly. When you pick up a single mag it feels light, but when your vest is full of them you can feel a fair bit of weight, which feels really nice.
