While this is not a pure M14 shot, it does give a size comparison if people are interested. The M14 EBR is about the same size as the M4, though 3x heavier:

Seconded... way too nice for sugar and spice.

 

I agree, I like what was done to that Chinese clone :) Somethign similiar is going to happen to my M14 when I get the cash.

 

For those who care i'm resurecting my Fiberglass M14 stock project. The original thread can be found here. But dont expect much to be posted till late march (The stock is back home and I'm stuck in college lol)

Thx for all the great comments guys :D

 

I did f up abit on the inside with the charging handle rod, so i'll have to find something to make it work again. also, the motorcontacts are s**t and broke off already <_< so that will have to be replaced with a TM one aswell.

I was pretty surprised it was pretty much a drop in fit ,give or take a few bits.

I had to tidy up some of the insides, took about 2 mins with a dremel nothing major though which was a relief.

 

Then I sealed the wood with polyvine 'dead flat' varnish, so it doesnt affect the finish at all, but seals the wood from water etc. Just a precaution really.
