Cali
I put a 3000mah in mine without removing the buttplate. I had to make sure the fuse section was outside, stick the batter in (wire side last, sticking out), then put in the fuse part of the wire and connector in last.
shankskank
i tried that, the battery was too thick though and the wire sticking out of the hatch got in the way
UrPeaceKeeper
i tried that, the battery was too thick though and the wire sticking out of the hatch got in the way <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â First off, Welcome to the Brotherhood (make sure you proudly display it in your sig) and second off, I have a Sanyo in mine and it works flawlessly and moves in and out quite easily. Although more recent problems with my M14 have arrisen there are more "Legal" matters to deal with before I can adress airsoft again. Besides I have plans to spend 306 bucks on the SRC M4A1 and make it my project gun. My M14 is on the "Back Burner" at the current I do have new pictures but nothing special. April 8th is my Next event and I'll try and get some good pictures taken there.
shankskank
i figured out a way, i took off the metal at the butt of the gun and put the battery in, and then screwed it back on, and it fits perfect and snug

ColSanders
Ew... orange... Personally, I just can't warm up to a Socom16 with wood stock, it just demands plastic...
UrPeaceKeeper
Ew... orange... Personally, I just can't warm up to a Socom16 with wood stock, it just demands plastic... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Honestly I cant warm up to any SOCOM/SOPMOD version of the M14, but I have to agree a SOC16 has to have the Fiberglass stock Still a decent lookin M14 though and I'm glad you at least went with a nice wood stock

fishsquatch
Add another new member to the M14 Brotherhood! Â Here's my OD M14 at dusk: Â Â Harris bipod, Bushnell Banner 1.5-4.5x35 scope, King Arms scope mount (thanks clmwrx!), and stock internals (for now).
clmwrx
I was about to say that is a mighty fine scope mount you have there Edited April 6, 2006 by clmwrx
ColSanders
Just wondering... what all is involved in putting the scope mounts in place... I'm hoping to get one for my M14... Â And just wondering to all you folks with wood stocks on your TM M14s, bout how long did you spend dremeling?
clmwrx
You just take out the little piece that is in front of the rear site, and slide the mount in. Tighten all of the screws and your set. Â Sorry if I seem vague, but if you have your m14 and scope mount it is quite obvious.
leemovie
I upgraded my M14 with a M100 spring and metal bushings. It shoots above forum limit. Before the upgrades, I felt that a scope is nothing more than a decoration. Now it makes more sense. It's got the G&P RAS kit on it. The stock is Marui stock pianted by myself. shankskank
nice. i like the gun a lot. im in the process of painting mine right now, it is going to look a lot like that, but darker i think, i might have the base brown isntead of tan. currently it is covered with white primer
DualWieldNate
I am taking a pic tonight with scope, bipod and supressor, I'll add it later. Â If this isn't strictly an M14 let me know and I won't post again. I find SOPMODS are l.ike Marmite, you either love 'em or hate 'em.
screamin_weasel
you know, just looking at the thumbail, it looks vaguely like an M4SIR with a VN mag and slidign stock lol.
DualWieldNate
I find when holding it, it does feel like you're holding an M4 (or variant). I'm getting a vert foregrip in the near future and that'll make feel even more like one. Just a bloody heavy one
Schecky
I love em, if i had the cash to drop i'd get one quick. anybody in the US still selling them?
