Wupjak
G&P EBR kit, Marui base gun. Sprayed it with FDE gunkote. Set up for night games with the EOTech 551, VITAL-2 and IR illuminator. Edited November 25, 2007 by Wupjak
validtumoralarm
Haha, well that beats my Scout.
Wupjak
Nice scout, very tidy paint on it. Mine is added above. See if you can guess where the scope and mount were originally mounted, hehe. Still need to replace the heatshield and figure out how I want to paint the stock/furniture. validtumoralarm
Thanks, man. The EBR is beautiful. As far as paint goes, I just used Krylon coyote tan, dusted with some light brown, orange-ish, then I laid some ferns on top and went over them lightly with OD. I can't remember the exact colors, it was a long time ago.
mrblah
mrblah is it me or is the front end of your m4 not on straight? the m14 looks good BTW does it perform well out of the box? its on straight, the bottom handguard is made of two pieces and of different sizes.........one metal and one plastic....hense why it looks crooked at times. as for the echo 1, it shoots decent out of the box. CAn't really comment on it because i've only owned it for a day or two.

chillindrdude
Wupjak, that ebr setup must give your arms quite a workout!
Wupjak
YOU ARE CORRECT! It's not as heavy as it was with the scope and mount on it that are now on the scout, but yes, the EBR is stout, and nose-heavy. Lipo batteries save some weight up front, thankfully. Edit: Oh, and hooray for bungie slings! Edited November 27, 2007 by Wupjak
The Crunchy Bunny
I just got a G&G M14 (black stock). I'll get pics up in a while.
The Crunchy Bunny
Since it's to late to edit. Here's some pics. I love this gun. It's a great shooter. Accuarte as hell. It's going to get paintjob on the stock and heastsheild soon(how do I take it off?) and it has -14mm muzzle threads right?

MunkyMo
11/15 My apt caught fire and took the life of my beautiful Soc16. After going through the burned out apt I realized that 2 broken G&G's I picked up as parts AEGs were still some what intact. I found enough parts to build 1 entire M14 minus the internals (The box of Prometheus parts just arrived). So here is my new baby... externally completed but still needing internal work. msx361
Needs some paint lines to break it up a bit But i feel for you mate, fire is a big fear on mine too cos there is probably £1000+ of airsoft stuff/gear and i dont know if the insurance would cover it. MunkyMo
I lost about 10k USD in stuff. Half of that was airsoft stuff. I was thinking of using coyote to do light stripes to break up the image but I want to do a test spray on another stock before I do most of the AEG.
