Jokai
Can I join the Brotherhood now Its stock at the moment and I will probably leave it like that for a while although a tighter bore barrel may go in at somepoint Also not sure if I want to put a scope or red dot sight Only problem is I gotta wait till next Sunday to have a proper go on her

Angry
Is there any way to make this? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Very nice! What is it and how much are they? Edit: Answered my own question - its a JAE-100 Precision Rifle Stock http://www.jae100.com/html/jae_home.html They're up for sale at $699 here Considering the price of an EBR I reckon I'll be having one of these instead! my_plague_666
...can you fit that kind of RS stock on an airsoft M14?
davedawg123
Someone contacted JAE and asked them how wide the grip area was. Apparently, it's too thin to house the motor.
Angry
Balls. I was wondering about that. Ah well, sooner or later the chinese will copy it.
my_plague_666
Balls. I was wondering about that. Ah well, sooner or later the chinese will copy it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> one can only hope seriously, its the only M14 mod thingy that ive seen that i like. everything else (cough EBR, SOPMOD cough) just seems OTT on the rails and...well, generally wiping out all traces of M14 beauty in favor of practicality (and TBH in airsoft most of the real steel advantages of an EBR or SOPMOD dont make any difference in the airsoft world) not to mention how fragile their stocks look. ...damn ive gone on another raped M14 rant, sorry anyhoo, chinese JAE-100 FTW!!!! Angry
I know what you mean. I do like the tactical aspect EBR, but I don't really like the idea of the weight. This seems like a good compromise between the two. Maybe if someone were to explain the potential market to JAE then they would produce and airsoft version of their own. Or maybe that is just wishful thinking!

Patrick[PM]
so does anyone plan to buy the new CA m14?
boomboomairsoft
judging from all the lawsuits being brought against CA, they might not be around long enough to put out their new guns. maybe tho...
lineman66
Hillslam, how front heavy would you say the EBR is with the battery in? Takes a large type up front right? Thanks
Jagdraben
Well, gents, I think I'm leaving the Brotherhood, soon. The EBR stock is proving to be a big pain in the *albartroth*. Simply getting rid of it will probably help a lot. And then I can afford a new gun. But fear not, I will not (hopefully never) be gone from the RS M14 brotherhood, nor shall I be gone long from the AS M14 brotherhood. Edited May 1, 2007 by Jagdraben
