Quotes in the old format are broken

Hey guys,

 

I don't know if this is on your radar or not ... but old posts from the previous system that quoted other people's posts appear to be a different formatting than what's used in the new system. And as a result, the quoted posts don't appear to be displaying properly. Is it on the list to fix? It can be a little confusing reading old posts as you can't clearly tell where the quote ends and the new post resumes.

Yup it's on the fix list. We need to reformat around.. 2 million posts. It's going to take a bit to reformat the historic posts.

I looked at the code because I was curious, and I don't think you should need to reformat anything at all!

 

All you should need to do is add two lines of code to this file: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/public/style_css/css_1/ipb_styles.css

 

.quotetop { color: #fff; background: #6CC; } 
.quotemain { color: #000; background: #9FF;}

 

 

(those are just examples that should work pretty well, you could style it pretty much anyway you want of course!
