Milla
Wtf, last post in 2005? Okey, that's my try to revive this thread. Can't believe there is nobody into USMC loadouts. Got myself a Point Blank IBA. It's different to the SDS OTV in terms of colour and a few other things. Photo 1/1 (yes, Collar-Yoke assembly included ): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v643/kwp/a9b72bcf-1.jpg[/img <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is there soft armor in there? Doesn't look like it. The OTV looks to "loose" looking to have soft armor in it...but i may be wrong.
oxford
I like your loadout better than the pics you based it off of Top shelf stuff mate, and great paint on the M4; I'm getting an AK soon and would love to know how to achieve that weathered effect (I'll look it up). Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks mate. As for the spray... Krylon base of khaki then very light medium brown stripes... Then the worn look is just wear and tear to be honest. I treat the thing with very little respect I am afraid!
tomster
USMC fan here too!
oxford
Excellent M16A4! - love it When you get that gear well worn and dirty it will look perfect.
darkchild130
Oxford: Awesome loadout mate! +1 I've always liked US marines (especially force recon) more than all the other US forces, why is that? Darkchild
Milla
why is that?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because we are leet sauce?
minnoq
I've always liked US marines (especially force recon) more than all the other US forces, why is that? Darkchild <{POST_SNAPBACK}> See my sig I've been planning a loadout like this: http://img287.imageshack.us/img287/1377/ph...30520128ks2.jpg for quite a while now (Pic stolen from http://www.wannabe.uk.com/ ), but I suffer from Keep-Planning-New-Loadouts-But-Never-Finishing-Them Syndrome. darkchild130
your sig is so overused, guys in my regiment have t-shirts with "And on the 8th day God created Green Jackets and the Devil stood to attention" When i was a Para i had a t-shirt with "And on the 8th day God created Paras and the Devil stood to attention" so it definately isnt that. I think its because they have the most Green Jacketesque mentality out of all the Yank units. No ######, they dont like to wear loads of patches and they dont call every specialised unit under the sun "Special forces" Like the US army/Navy/Airforce seem to do. They are soldier's soldiers. I have max respect for the US Marines. Darkchild
