Josiah Hull
I have a TM MK23 that is shooting remarkably weak, and have deduced that the hammer spring is no longer capable of producing enough force to perform a decent strike to the valve assembly. As such I have been scowering the interwebs for a replacement and have found zero such parts. I am starting to beleive that buying a Y&P MK23 and stealing the hammer assembly from that is my only good option, but it seems a bit of a waste to do so if I could find just the spring. Anyone know if they even exist in aftermarket world?
renegadecow
Make the spring. Or have someone who makes springs do it for you. Do you have a pic or dimensions of the spring in question?
Josiah Hull
You know, I hadn't even thought of making my own spring. Made one over the weekend and it seems to work well, put the FPS up to 345, but a little bit of work will still be needed to be done, as the trigger arm binds up a tiny amount against the spring. Still, its better than it had been, thanks for the suggestion
