uscmCorps
though we don't know what PTS's version will be like yet admittedly, they might make it out of lead for all we know right now. Used my postal scale ... PTS Polymer Handguard weighs 165 grams or 5.8 ounces: PTS Metal Railed Handguard weighs 285 grams or 10 ounces: The Metal Handguard isn't pot metal AFAIK. TheFull9
120g, that's pretty impressive it must be said. Being that you can put rails on to the plastic I'd dismissed the thought of ever picking up the rail before now, but you can't argue with those numbers, thanks. Now to finally get around to buying the thing (and some duracoat).
AnotherJesus
TTB... Yeah. Sclerosis... Did I miss something?
grzechotnik
I just wonder, what brand is that TTB, just seems to be long for me, but not enough long for Super Tap. Cheers!
-=OGGY=-
I was a bit iffy at first about the CB RIS on the FDE ACR, but the more I look at it, the more I kind of like the dual tone. It's definately starting to grow on me. One of Remington's early versions of the ACR had the upper receiver and RIS in CB with the lower and stock in FDE which I thought looked pretty cool. I might go down this road. Anyone want to find me some CB duracoat? Definitely do this! That will look great. -OGGY
Noveske
I just wonder, what brand is that TTB, just seems to be long for me, but not enough long for Super Tap. Cheers! I can't remember. I just dug it up from a huge bag of flashiders I have.. LOL. I'm pretty sure it's G&P though.

ko5ma
anyone rockin the Foliage Green?? fawkkkk all I see is DE and OD Yup. I find it is much more suitable for our climate here - just as good as FDE in summer time, but doesn't stand out as much in the snow.

Chevieblazer
PTS Metal Railed Handguard weighs 285 grams or 10 ounces: RAS by PTS? I guess I did miss something
hwagan
Had a box turn up from Ehobby yesterday... My old M4 now looks a bit different; I'd like some better pictures, but there's no natural light by the time i get home. Built from the following bits; G&P Colt M4 based MIC TRX Extreme 7.2" Battle Rail (Really, really nice) G&P 7.5" Stainless SBR barrel + gas tube + low profile block Madbull HALO covering 300mm inner barrel PTS MOE Stock, Grip, and RVG + ACM XTM's G&P T1, Dytac AD Cowitness mount, ARES Troy rear, Element troy front
Fellowz
has anyone got experience with UBR stocks and Lipo's?
hwagan
has anyone got experience with UBR stocks and Lipo's? I run Lipo's in my PTS UBR on my MRP; Easy installation, space for up to an 11.1 1200 or so, quick to change and generally a good idea.
jgarnreiter
has anyone got experience with UBR stocks and Lipo's? I was running a LiPo in my UBR for a while. Worked fine for me. If your gun has a fuse it'll make it tough to fit wires in, so if you're using a 7.4 it'll help to use deans. But otherwise it makes for a really clean look.
Fellowz
becasue i have a 7.4 on deans and at the moment in my stock tube but i wondered what the fitment was like on UBR's should i get one.

TheFull9
Mint choc-chip guns do make me sad, but then I like OD so that makes me a weirdo who is not be listened to anyway. Looks very nice without the suppressor it has to be said, how light weight is this 'light weight' handguard then hwagan? It's a very close race between a 12" TRX and mid-length MOEs for my next WOC upper receiver.
