The blaster in question is the LCT AKS-74.

And I'm pretty sure it's aluminum, so even if I did...

You can weld aluminium. Probably not worth the effort though.

Yeah, as a non-welder, I'd have to pay someone to do it, so it's likely not worth it (all the more reason to learn, though).

You can weld certain grades of Aluminium Alloy, and both parts would need to be the same material.

Alternatively, there's the 'Low Temperature' kits that will join (not weld, it's more like soldering) just about any of the other alloys, including pot-metal.

You only need a small gas torch.
