DangerWerx
Lowest I have taken them out was about 40F, and they ran well. I had maybe 1 mag load with cool down, but of my 5 mags, they all worked like a champ.
ollie_ty
-10 Celcius, with 134a. And it was still firing at around 330-340. easily got 2 fills of ammo out of each mag aswell. (That was before I had the Dangerwerx valve btw) Edited November 10, 2011 by ollie_ty
bulmedius
i have issues with my mp9 overhopping 0.25s with 134a..
ollie_ty
huh? Is it fine with more powerful green gas?
Mace2
Ok so got it chron'ed tonight. The 330 fps marked on the box is wildly out. Shooting 370-375 fps on green and 345-350 on Abbey ultra. Fortunately this is just within site limits so I don't need to depower it but green is out. I'll give it a good testing over the next two weekends and report back on real world usage performance.
ollie_ty
I thought it would be.
bobtuskins
Does anyone know what it chrono's on .20 BBs using pure propane and a Dangerwerx valve?
ollie_ty
it cant be too far off 320, which is what I get with green gas.
bobtuskins
Excellent. I was planning on getting an MP9 in the near future, and since I usually run my gas guns on propane, I knew it would probably run way too hot. Guess I'll add the valve to my future shopping list and see.
DangerWerx
Hey guys, Just a preview of next batch of threaded muzzles. I was able to shave down about .5in of the whole unit. This will probably be the standard muzzle I make, with a few limited runs of "modded" barrels Here is also a bit of a teaser for another project...
3vi1-D4n
Anyone know where to get NS2/System 7 shorty mags?
ollie_ty
With a hacksaw and some forward planning. There aren't any shorty mags for the S7 in production.
Mace2
Ooh - that likes like a tightbore???!!!!! Have you got any of the latest threaded barrels ready to go yet?
DangerWerx
I take delivery of my next batch this coming week. Then they are off to be anodized. I should have them ready in 1.5-2 weeks. Yes, it will be a tightbore barrel. Just working out the logistics of it now.
faramon
Thanks to Ollie being the truest Gentleman my MP9 will be coming back to daddy ... it had a nice holiday being looked after by master Mp9's-man Ollie but now it must come back to my crude and rough hands .
Mace2
Is there a commercially made tightbore barrel available at the moment?
ollie_ty
Yeah, I have one. It's pretty good actually!
Mace2
Hmm - very tempted as it was only the long range accuracy I had an issue with at the weekend in a woodland game. Could be a dirty barrel as flights were very erratic but a tightbore would certainly help. Dangerwerx will you be squeezing any extra length in with the one you are designing? Anyone also want to comment on the quality of the standard hop rubber or recommend an upgrade as well?
ollie_ty
I put a Falcon hop up rubber in mine and it certainly helped.

Mace2
How is the falcon rubber better? Seen some that have an h shaped nub. Is this one of them or just a different rubber type?
ollie_ty
Falcon rubbers supposidely absorb far less silicone than stock KWA/KSC Rubbers, making them swell up much less.
vilerk
The one I have had a flat nub, not h shaped. I ordered it from a Taiwan website though. I can verify they don't absorb as much silicone, and I've also noticed that they're less prone to tearing and cracking.
DangerWerx
Looks like someone else has made some QD Mp9 silencers. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/accessories/flash-hiders/action-mpx-qd-silencer-for-ksc-mp9-tp9-smg-45x186mm.html http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/accessories/flash-hiders/action-mpx-qd-silencer-for-ksc-mp9-tp9-smg-35x170mm.html I must say, I am not a fan of the look of it though, the step from end caps and body are a bit dramatic, but looks cool anyways. I am glad others are stepping into MP9 Territory!
