Wild_XIII
The Cmore looks nice, but my one stripped the threads on the bolts so secure it to the rail. It's a shame as it was a very nice sight. I think a T1 will probably be the best bet as the ones I've used before were pretty good.
Wild_XIII
I'm still on the hunt for magazines (eBay doesn't chuck up an awful lot!) and all I'm finding are KSC Taiwan versions. They're the system 7 version with the follower on the front so technically they should fit, however I've read somewhere that they don't. Is anyone able to clarify this at all? Just a few more days and then I can blow my pay on some shiny bits for my MP9!
ollie_ty
Im using 4 KSC ones, and 3 KWA ones.
Wild_XIII
I should be good then, awesome! I've just got to wait until Monday before I can order them now.
AG1212
Howaya, What sort of effective range can I expect from one of these (Irish version shooting at ~320 with GG)?
amateurstuntman
Define effective. If I had to pick a range at which I could hit a human torso every single time, 20m. Which is actually quite far in terms of airsoft if you get a tape measure, a target and spend some time shooting at it. The problem is that it doesn't seem like a great distance compared to people claiming to be able to get headshots at 100m with a vsr-10. If you follow.

Aye, I'm not looking for anything particularly magical, if I can hit targets at realistic ranges (such as 20m) I'm happy. Cheers.
ollie_ty
With this gun, it's worth sneaking in a little closer to scare people with the noise/ROF.
Wild_XIII
Mine scares people from outside it's range! It's easy to push up when people run away from this little monster.
hwagan
I gotta say, after seeing Ollie's (That guy posting there above), it doesn't seem to suffer from the usual KSC/KWA hop design at long ranges; I was thoroughly impressed, if not amazed.
Wild_XIII
6 spare magazines and a REAPS hop rubber now on order, thanks to Mr. Hwagan for showing me a place that actually had mags in stock. A red dot and other bits are for next month, £255 for those bits above. Edited September 27, 2012 by Wild_XIII
FTZ-WildeCard
Ohhhh... let me know how you get on with the REAPS. I am loving every aspect of the MP9 so far.. it's taking a lot of self restraint to avoid an impulse purchase right now!
Wild_XIII
As long as the rubber doesn't absorb oil and swell it should be an improvement over the standard rubber. I'm not looking forward to taking the hop unit apart, I have a terrible curse which causes all small parts to just vanish. One thing I'm noticing on my MP9 is that the area where the bolt catch catches is getting very worn and I'm still finding traces of metal shavings even though I've rounded off the bolt catch corners. Maybe I need to take some more off the bolt catch but I don't want to stop it working all together.
amateurstuntman
Don't worry about taking it apart. It's easy.
Wild_XIII
It's not so much taking it apart, more how am I going to find the tiny ball bearing if I lose it. As said, I have a terrible knack for losing that small yet vital pieces.
sandstorm
Don't worry about taking it apart. It's easy. Oh, plenty of things are easy to take apart. It's the putting back together that is kind-of difficult.
ollie_ty
Just get a magnet nearby when you take it apart. Or take it apart over a lunchbox.
Wild_XIII
My wallet is now £300 lighter in total... all for six mags and a REAPS bucking. Thank god I love this gun enough to spend that much on it!

ollie_ty
Tell me how that REAPS performs dude.
Wild_XIII
I'll have to let it bed in for a bit first. Looks like the remaining ammo and gas I have are going on tweaking. I'm actually really annoyed at KWA, they put horrible stickers on their mags which just shred as soon as you look at them. I'm going to spend the next hour scraping the remaining bits of sticker off my mags now.

Wild_XIII
With any luck I'll be able to get some shots off before it gets dark tonight. If not I'll spend tomorrow bedding in the hop rubber. I've got a whole load of 134a left so I don't have to use all my green gas.
Wild_XIII
Ok, I've not had a chance to tweak the hop to a skirmishable setting yet. Tonight, my remaining green gas will go on getting the hop set right, then I'll finally be able to tell if the REAPS is worth getting. I will say that blasting off all 7 mags in one sitting made me very satisfied in the pants though!
