In sticking to Gunfighers808 style of Topic Title and Topic Description, this is a very quick initial review of the TM SCAR-L Recoil Shock AEG System released in Japan today. Even though it's released

lol BUT ITS NOT HOW IT IS...   Your just assuming... have you seen one break ?? no you havent, do you know why i know you havent becuase no one has.. if someone had i would know about it.   Not

druid, we gotta have a contest to see who has more TM EBBs! I have the socom and sopmod, i'm selling a few unused AEGs to pick up the TM scar. It's like crack....

tm set the price on 62.800 yen or 806 USD or 620 euro.

i hope they gonne sell the lowers serperate.

I had heard that the recce in tan was going to be more expensive than the SCAR-H but all I has was hearsay.

Now people cast your eyes upon this: http://echigoya-guns.com/guns/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=432

$569 dollars! The black is on preorder and the tan comes out later...........

i have heard from tm that the uppers and lowers of the scar-H and L are not interchangeble to bad ;(

It's been said before and it's for a totally legitimate reason. The real deal SCAR H upper receiver is slightly longer than the L's, most likely to better accommodate the larger caliber.

I'm really on the fence on whether I want this or a VFC/ clone. I assume the magazine is totally proprietary?

The SCAR-H just looks too big and bulky to me.... I'm drawn to the CQC myself and yes I know you can screw the barrel off the H & L... i'd love to see a piccy of a H and CQC next to eachother though just to compare the dimensions..... also I didn't realise the H and L had different receiver dimensions.. real life I understand but in airsoft land :o

The scar out of the box tends to have a higher fps, on average comes out doing 300fps compared to 280 for the sopmod. Personally for me I find the scar cqc more managable than the sopmod/socom (I have the sopmod and the scar cqc). Range is similar and accuracy is similar,.

Now that's good to know, this means shove in an eagle6 M100 and a quality TB and one is looking at at about 330-335fps perhaps even more..mmmm

Apparently Fire Support have the new recoil SCARs in stock:

Or is that misleading?

They have 4 CQC in stock with 10% until tomorrow... but that still about £472!!!! which is about $708!!!

I cant since I bought it used. Is it a really big problem?! :( Everything else about it works well...

Ah second hand , bummer . do you know if the previous owner 'tinkered' with it ? Unless there was a fault when they bought it new , my first thought is they've cracked it open and havn't put it back right .
