Pkekyo-Nor
It is Ranger Green, but not a PACA.To be honest, I'm not up to date on low profile BAs, but it looks to be a fairly recent one.
Blindside
Yes, it is Ranger Green. It is not an Eagle LVAC. Safariland makes it. Don't think it is quite as low pro as my PACA. I probably wouldn't wear it under a BDU top. The interior is not as comfortable material wise as a PACA is. Ref pic is from 2010, so they are at least that early.
Pdubyuh
Whats the correct holo sight for a DEVGRU 416 one of these http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/acatalog/G-G-556-Holo-Sight-G_12_021.html or one of these? http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/acatalog/G-G-551-Holo-Sight-G_12_020.html
gtamobster
The 551 copy (second one). Most likely some are using EXPS now since SOCOM bought them recently, however the top one you have there is an XPS copy.
Pdubyuh
Thanks gtamobster thats what I thought and i'm really not keen on how the EXPS/XPS looks and crt123 batteries are too damn pricey!
Danke
EXPS been out for a while. This photo is in the thread somewhere. http://www.navy.mil/features/view_image.asp?f=4&id=
Tw1tch
553 for the quick release function, pretty sure the clones run on AAAs too.
Wingmann
The 551s work on AG13s, which are not exactly long life batteries, but I like it better than the 553/556. Also, CR123s are not bad and you have the option of using rechargable ones. Check DX.com or any other place where you can get them for cheap.
Pdubyuh
Ive got a 553 its the Hurricane model and its really nice and in FDE (not quite spot on colourwise but pretty good) but with the slightly higher upper on a 416 and then the higher mounting of the 553 due to the QR it sits quite high, not a real issue but i use it for my Mk18 and I was toying with the idea of an eotech and a 3x but the 553 takes up alot of the rail and that plus a 3x plus a PEQ it pretty much fills up the top rail. My spectre doesnt look right on the 416 either and I havent seen many if any pics of DEVGRU using them together (and it really goes on my Block 2!). So let me see if I have this right for the most up to date DEVGRU 416 I should really go EXPS but the 551 is also an option but more for the slightly older impression? Dacosta
You can run a 551 or the 553 if you reenact Gold Team in A-Stan...Or an EXPS if your going on a "ZDT" 416...it deppends what the rest of the gear of the impression...
Pdubyuh
OK cool as I have the 553 I think i'll go for the EXPS as then I can do either
blobface
Not sure if this is strictly speaking on topic... but what on earth is that mount the Eotech is sitting on? *see Zero Dark Thirty screenshot below*

Moosey47
According to Navy SEALs facebook, this is actual the 416 that killed Bin Laden. Adjust your 416s as neccessary........... https://www.facebook.com/USNSPECWARTEAMS/photos/a.128237303865850.15177.126116994077881/691462834209958/?type=1&theater

blobface
Tempted to say Geissele, but it looks a little different.. *yeap, I was wrong, it's the Remington RAHG for the HK416.
Danke
What type of rail system is that? Looks like Remington RAHG. Same a BF's vote.
Boom3r
Answered my own question here I think, but it looks like a black version of the Remington rail http://www.remingtonmilitary.com/Accessories/Rifle-Carbine/RAHG.aspx.
Touchette
Here's a link to the Soldier Systems Daily article. The blurb perports that the picture is of the UBL rifle, though not in the exact configuration as the one that actually killed UBL, but this picture represents a good amount of the configuration of the rifle from that night. As I understand it, the actual source for the picture is Larry Vickers, but I don't know where/how he obtained it or the information that it's the UBL rifle.
