yubbermax
I bet those places are shaped like that to present more flat surfaces so they can stop bullets better.
chas
Dont know if you have seen all of these. Anyone what holster attachment this guy is using? i dont think its the UBL, this one rides higher. Hadnt seen big version of this picture. Note tactical pijamas.
Danke
Anyone what holster attachment this guy is using? i dont think its the UBL, this one rides higher. Looks like a Safariland put onto a receiver plate then with a paddle or similar to fit his belt. That would give the higher ride.
sierra hotel
Anybody have any suggestions for a solid M14 pouch? Right now all I have are the pouches on my H-harness, and they're for a M249. I'm fond of the Condor open top M14 pouches w/elastic, but they are not made from the most high quality materials. They held up quite well when I was using them though.
xEnterSandmanx
Looks like a Safariland put onto a receiver plate then with a paddle or similar to fit his belt. That would give the higher ride. He's not a SEAL though, it's just from a magazine.
gbiscuit
IIRC, that's Chris Osman. And if that's the case he is, or in this case, was, a SEAL. I know for certain that that pic came from the most recent TAG catalog however.

Hispeed1
US Navy SEAL team member at the 2009 Veterans Day Ceremony and Muster XXIV (National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, FL) "You da man! No-you da man!" (Cookie-cutter gear: EI MARCIRAS, modified DCU, Protec Classic helmet, M4, etc. Those Benchmade Nimravus knives are nice) U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Joseph M. Agent Hunk
Atleast 5 different companies make them. BHI being the cheapest as they left off the webbing.

Adiventure
Just a cool heads up: The VIP Strobe knockoffs are actually IR too. Any news on water resistance and general durability? I've held of on buying a clone since my use for them extends beyond airsoft to some decently rugged conditions.

Delta_Knight
Ebaybanned Link My review of these things IMO great aesthetically, but they aren't all that bright under IR...
the roob
the IR works, but the IR night vision setting on my camera could not "see" the IR lights at a distance of 40 feet away. Yes, they are working IR leds. NO, this is not an emergency strobe you should trust your life to out in your sailboat or on the backcountry snowboard trails. Anyone searching for your strobe beacon in the night will find your corpse in a month or so, and not because of the knock-off strobe. Leave this thing on your airsoft rig and use it for the +1 it gives your rig. That is the safest way to use it. I bought 4 of these critters (to resell to my teammates) 3 of them had VERY stiff rotation on the on off knob. VERY VERY hard to turn on and switch functions. nearly imposible with one hand (like if it was connected to your rig, you couldn't turn it on with your free hand. you need both hands to secure it and than twist) the green LEDS are nice and bright. the strobe function is SLOW, not strobe-like... more like on-off on-off on-off. I doubt very much that it is weather proof. The plastic is strong but the clear lense is not poly carb, just clear injection molded plastic. probably pretty weak, but I didn't do any smash tests on mine.
