tmiller
I purchased this rifle off ehobbyasia for $298 shipped with the free emag. It came 5 days later in a brown blank box. Inside was FILLED with bubblewrap, the gun, the mags, and the flashhider were all wrapped in it. The rifle comes with a CLOCKWISE orange flashhider, but there's a black steel one included in the box. I didn't realize it was clockwise and messed up the threads a bit hahaha. The trademarks were covered with this thick black goo to get through customs, but it was a serious pain in the *albatross* to remove. The trademarks say "PROPERTY OF US GOVT M16A2 CAL 5.56MM" and "COLT FIREARMS DIVISION COLT INDUSTRIES HARTFORD, CONN U.S.A" The rifles build quality is very very nice, expected from g&p. Parts like the flashhider, handguard cap, the magazine, dustcover, delta ring and the body pins are steel. The body is diecast aluminum, it has a very durable finish. The magazine is a midcap, 130 rounds. The rifle has a one piece 19 inch barrel, with a replicated gas tube, the insides of the handguards also have heatshields. The rifle fires 380-390 out of the box. It has a metal bearing spring guide, and a steel air nozzle. Thats all I can tell without opening it. The only things I dont like about the gun is the design of the dust cover, you cant close it with the gearbox in the gun and how tight the magazines are. They dont freefall, you need to tug them out. Im very happy with this rifle so far, Its very very realistic and rigid. If you're looking for a quality mid to long range aeg take a look at g&ps m16 lineup.
