Handsome Pete
Cyma AK74 is playing up. When i press the trigger the motor makes a noise (like its turning/spinning) but doesnt do anything to the gear box. Its a systema motor. Any ideas?
Tom Andrews
It could be the disc that adjust the motor has slipped out of place, it could be the adjustment screw has come lose and the motor gear isn't engaging, or the motor pinion gear has worn and isn't engaging. Finally the end of the piston has snapped off leaving the motor and gears to revolve.
Vice
You can check the motor out without opening the gear box or removing the GB from the body. Just undo the screw on the pistol grip, and the two screws holding the motor cage on. Tell us what you see.
DeBurca
Have you tried adjusting the motor height
Handsome Pete
Apologies for the slow response and thanks for the replies. Having looked at it i noticed the bit that rotates on the topof the motor had slipped down. I pushed it back up and tightend the tiny allen screw on it. Fires fine again. Once again thanks for the replies and please ignore my pathetic attempt at naming parts. Cheers.
