ED-SKaR
OF THE classic airsoft guns I've had, they all range from terribly impractical to woefully unskirmishable. I pretty much only want to own guns that I can skirmish with, but I don't like selling on guns that don't function . That said, I've never owned a BV gun, probably the best of the external gas guns. The academy SA80 puts out 150FPS with no hop or LRB and my hudson double barrel leaks gas from the shells so badly it can barely shoot, plus I only have two shells and that makes it so impractical. The maruzen pistol uzi on the other hand are pretty good, rudimentry fixed hop that flings 250fps 0.2g BBs at a resonable distance, although I will keep it as a CQB gun as even my bell 1911 shot further. {edit- made me sound less insulting to our ancestors gats.} Edited February 11, 2014 by ED-SKaR
happy.al
My Asahi M60 is one of the best skirmish guns you can get. The range with a LRB is silly, and by that I mean that I loss sight of the bb well before it gets to it's maximum range. The Sun Project/Daytonagun guns are another version that is very skirmish-able, in my opinion better than the current gas in the mag style GBBr's You do have to put up with the gas bottle, but I got over it fairly quickly once playing. I have tried to use a non-LRB Jac M16, and that was pretty awful, it didn't help that the rof was so high it was like a lazer and it had almost no range.
Danke
MGC P7M13 And a spiritual descendant. Tanio Koba USP Tactical.
wolfgeorge
Yes I shoot my guns!! But I don't have a proper camera for a video!! I don't want to use a phone camera..!! You'll have to wait abit more! I have 3 Tanio Koba USP's! One has a very rare and very hard to find Zeke slide ! Wolf
Danke
Nice! I have a Zeke slide on my KSC USP Compact. It is slick! My classics are all stock.
ED-SKaR
I just dug out my HFC super 9 if that's even worth taking a photo of...
Rob15
Does the Tanio Koba USP .40 SD really count as a classic? I know it's not particually new but they're no older than TM Sig P226s and you can still buy magazines for them, I already have 7 magazines and 3 of the pistols, a spare trigger, the TK suppressor and my own upgrade piston heads for them so I don't need any more myself
-Drake-
I really wish there were more aftermarket upgrades for the TK USP 40SD's, I love mine but it really could do with a new threaded outer barrel...
wolfgeorge
I've also have a KSC USPc w/zeke slide (I've also have a spare black Zeke USPc slide for sale!) and it's marvelous indeed. The TK USP even though it's not that old but it's considered a neo-classic. The USP Tactical has a TK rifled barrel in it !!! It's nice! KSC USP compacts both with Zeke slides! The black is not mine, and I have a spare Zeke slide. Not a classic though! Wolf
Danke
I think the TK counts; it's old school enough.
renegadecow
Not sure if this even counts as airsoft coming from the days before 6mm bbs.

PureSilver
A shell-ejecting diabolo-shooting springer Automag? Where the hell did you find that?!
renegadecow
Oddly enough at a surplus goods store a couple or so years ago. Got it NIB and the extra mags from a loose pile. Ill try to look for the box for more info but in a nutshell it's a K.K. Matsushiro shell ejecting, blow back, spring operated 10" Automag. The hourglaas projectiles are 6.9mm. wolfgeorge
RC that's really nice. I don't own anything that old! Plus I've never seen one before. Wolf
mightyjebus
Since we are doing weird old pistols with weird calibers.....
FireKnife
I always wondered if one of those 1911 rifle kit things existed in airsoft. Now could I make one to fit a TM and then have it work with boltie parts? 'FireKnife'
jv83
Good lord, have been looking for one of those in ages! Very high on my wishlist next to the Kokusai scoremaster. Mightyjebus can you post some more info?
mightyjebus
I'm not quite sure what info you require but here's a few facts: It doesn't suffer from cooldown as it's hand cocking it holds 10 bb's in the top slide which can be seen in the photo below FPS is 230 to cockit you need to pull down the hammer, then pull the lever which brings the working parts to the rear and then push it forward. This loads a BB and prep's the chamber to fire.repeat 10 times and then refill the internal magazine. Markings and Magazine: uncocked: Cocked: Edited February 14, 2014 by mightyjebus
jv83
Thank you very much for inlightening me. I think I have seen pics of versions without the internal mag and inherent scope mount. But how to load the one bb at a time on that version eludes me. Such an interesting gun, hope I get a chance to purchase one in the future (though I have no idea where?). Edited February 14, 2014 by jv83
bluntshooter
I got my hands on a JAC M16A1 about a month ago but it looks like a completely different system than the usual JAC/MGC deal. I'm looking for the history of this replica, when it was made etc... ANY info would be nice! The markings are JAC but I'm wondering if it's been converted to use Sunproject-like internals. ED-SKaR
I've been trying to sell on my MMC SA80 for some time now. But Arnies isn't the place for classics anymore, and the old websites for classics seem to have gone. What's the best place to sell a classic these days? Anyone got any contacts? Rob15
I've been trying to sell on my MMC SA80 for some time now. But Arnies isn't the place for classics anymore, and the old websites for classics seem to have gone. To be honest the UK doesn't really seem to be the place for classics anymore, I ended up letting my MGC M12s go for something like £25, iirc after postage, PayPal fees etc I was left with £15 Granted it wasn't working properly but I wouldn't expect a good price for them anymore. wolfgeorge
@Bluntshooter this is the JAC GBB M16, not the best gun you can get. It's a GBB developed by JAC, their BV System is amazing and proven, their GbB effort on the other hand was exactly the opposite. The SP GBB engines were based on the Escort engine, they used AEG mags. Wolf
