Would you mind me asking what method you used the pictograms/upper receiver/selector markings white and red? And which colors of paint? Would you mind me asking what method you used the pictograms/upper receiver/selector markings white and red? And which colors of paint? Thank you for the compliment slu! I didn't colored it by myself. It's still a bit too bright at the moment. But the sunlight + dust and dirt will turn it darker soon. I'm gonna ask my buddy soon but it wasn't much work to do. I also chose quite standard colors. Regards orb
gijohn2
...so what makes it an M27, then? M27 is just a 416 with a Drum mag , So yeah it is a M27 Deal with it
Scharf
ohoho, I dont know whats here to deal with, the USMC havent adopted any drum mag for the IAR especialy not the beta C mag. They gonna feed on standart 30 rounders. so yeah your gun is a 416 with a drum mag not an IAR, but whatever you wanna call it, your choice Edited March 29, 2011 by Scharf

-Angel-
Its still not an IAR. Its an HK 416 with a C-mag. The boxes they are considering are MWG 90-round magazines.
PynkPanthyr
Also the IAR has a longer rail than the standard 416.
Shift
The IAR also has a different profile barrel and bayonet mount setup. Adding to what others have said about magazines, I think the hi cap magazines they are referring to are the new sure fire quad stack mags. league 4
As has already been said, the IAR has an almost entirely different front assembly and does not use beta C mags. To call your 416 an IAR is like calling a G36c with a drum mag an MG36, sort of...
