WL-Matt
Okay. I didn't know those existed... You win. The lower RIS that is. Edited March 11, 2012 by WL-Matt
validtumoralarm
I'm angry. I got really excited because I thought the VFC 416C was out already.
Noveske
Cool thanks for the reply. Apologies if this is the wrong section/place butdoes anyone know if there is there a proper retention holster for the tactical that doesnt need modification? I run a Safariland 6004 for my USP Tactical + UTL. Fits the enlarged sights.

aznriptide859
Jimmypie did you chop an RIS?
j3T
Jimmypie did you chop an RIS? Probably not, SRC sells a "SR416K" version. Not a replica of the HK416C though, just has a shorter barrel and ris http://www.starrainbow.com.tw/sr416k.htm
aznriptide859
Oh interesting...thanks j3t!
akiraspeedstar
My Umarex/KWA MP7a1, I think I might purchase a different light and PEQ box (all in black) since there isn't any other FDE on the gun. Opinion guys? Edited March 22, 2012 by akiraspeedstar
PureSilver
I say either paint 'em or replace 'em - all black is the way to go for a gun that's already 99% black. While you've got the paint out I'd try blocking in the whited-out Umarex novella on the other side of the gun, too... Edited March 22, 2012 by PureSilver
akiraspeedstar
Yeah I can't stand those damn paragraphs that UMAREX puts on their guns. I actually partially took off one of them but the plastic began to smooth out. I ended up using a exacto and poking the plastic randomly to give it that textured look again. Jolas
Good morning guys, I have a problem with my SL-8, the contact forces are winning the trigger "coal" and I can not make more than 10 shots, the trigger stops responding: (spoken to me in the "MOSFET" that could solve the problem The SL-8 is only semi-auto, and derived from the fact that the trigger may stop responding? Its a SL-8 from Classic Army (the body) the domestic level is completely changed, use lipo batteries 7.4/11.
faramon
Not mine but a photo I took the other week:
fiddlesticks4220
That a G&G MP5 SD? Looks legit... Anyone seen the new SRC's ??? Specificly the MP5K they make?
j3T
SRC is a weird bird. Some time ago they teased us with their MP5K with B&T foldable stock brochures but they are nowhere to be found. I emailed them once where they could be bought, they directed me to a retailer in taiwan who didn't have them either >< Anyway, SRC gen3 G36C:
fiddlesticks4220
I emailed SRC who said Umarex is the issue, they are stopping the guns from coming into some parts of europe and all ove the US... Umarex should just lisence the SRC guns instead.

akiraspeedstar
For the people who have painted over the ugly UMAREX paragraphs, what finish did you use? Satin? Flat?
piesoft
Maybe a strip of black electrical tape over the umerex markings could do the job, Just a thought anyway.
fiddlesticks4220
Tape !!! Take a permenany marker, fill over the white, whipe it off and rub it in quickly, the white will hardly be able to stand out.
kojak
My DEVGRU inspired MP7, will remove that awful writing soon! A Toy Soldier QR code sticker will cover that ooomarex blurb nicely, I still need to deal with the short story on the upper: No idea why my phone cam is all blurry today, maybe just the excuse I need to upgrade. kojak
Could you let me know where I can get that sticker? Here, here, here, and here. There's at least one photo around the interweb of MP7s with similar stickers, in a Coronado armory IIRC. I'm sure someone will correct me.
