Wingman
That is awesome. I have been hoping for a new P7M8 or P7M13 for years and years (i owned a real steel P7M8 a long time ago. It shot like a laser). You are a very lucky guy and I am super envious. Just super!

chas
Does anyone have a link to a guide on how to convert RS G3 magazines to AEG? I just got a couple waffle type mags and really want to use them on my A3, but I can't find a guide with pictures.

Got Wood?
Jez, why not just use the G3 sliding stock?
blobface
Jez, why not just use the G3 sliding stock? That reminds me of putting a M4 magazine adapter onto an airsoft AR57 a little... but to be fair you probably get a better cheek weld with those stocks than the G3 / mp5 sliding stock... NonEx
Oh ya know, just took some snaps with my potato camera WE "Apache" MP5A5 with VFC rail mount, Konus red dot sight and VFC handguard with light. Some bonus behind the scenes pictures of my tools for exposure, white balance and colors. Straight out of the camera vs. after adjustments. Shot with a Nikon D600 DSRL and Nikon 50mm 1.8f lens. RAW image out of camera. RAW adjusted and edited image. Subjectively one might like the unedited photo more, because of higher contrast and saturation. But it's wrong. Wrong I tell ya! Honestly, the adjustments really make the stuff look as it did in front of my own eyes, pretty much. Edited April 30, 2018 by NonEx
Horsem4n
Jez, why not just use the G3 sliding stock? There's also the case that the CA locking mechanism sucks and breaks easily.
Got Wood?
I really should never have got rid of my PDW. Damn you Nonex

Would I be right in thinking I would run into problems if I used any other rail mount than the VFC for a VFC/WE MP5 GBB as the receiver is RS spec? The standard typical no name/China mount wouldn't work?
NonEx
Don't really know. The VFC is a tight fit and requires some coercion to go on but it works great.

The standard typical no name/China mount wouldn't work? The VFC is 100% RS spec, but the WE is sliiiiightly wider (by about 0.8-1mm) in the frontend fitting. Plastic foregrips will fit as they have some flex, but metal RIS frontends for the RS won't. The CYMA KAC style MP5 RIS frontend will fit fine though. Up top though, all the MP5/G3 claw mounts or RIS mounts fit fine.
