In terms of FPS, it's a bit too hot for my local field. ROF is good with the ROF controller removed and bypassed on a 9.6 NiMH, soon to be replaced with a LiPO to take advantage of the energy density. Replacing some parts with aftermarket as the piston head is a bit meh.

cue a lot of cutting, painting and general bashing with a hammer I give you.....

*edit* G&G have probably the best after sales department in the airsoft world. drop them a quick email, get a quick response and 5 days later the bits are at my doorstep. cracking service again!

Does anyone have the GHK Plus AKS-74? I can't find a review anywhere.

I have the GHK plus AKs-74, I love it, a lot.

I also had the GHK AKM and it performs just as well, it better qualities are that it has 10 more rounds per magazine and a folding stock for easy logistics.

I've got a custom Hephaestus guide rod and spring, GHK heavy recoil bolt and also done so customizing myself.

Fakelite Pistol Grip (looking for real one)

Fakelite Magazine

Sanded wood and re stained before wearing it and using a matte finish

Rubbed metal to look worn

Type II Kalashnikov Bayonet

--MrPoo, with that particular AK mount, can you fold and secure your stock? I want to have optics on my 74SU, but I want to still be able to fold the stock, since the whole point is to have a weapon in a small, collapsible package. I don't want to use a handguard-mounted rail, though, because it just doesn't work well for me. If anyone's got any other suggestions, please give a shout out.
