blobface
Yeah I had to use a scalpel and sand paper to make it fit, didn't take too long though.
Bloodsword
Lct vss, pretty well camoflaged at close range.
hiawatha
Paracord it is i guess, looks better than those 1p sling attachments i think. Forgot to mention that its 7.62 mags i run thanks !
Bloodsword
Remember to make a "climber's knot" with double cord, so it wont open so easily.
Lone_Bullet
Bloodsword, seriously, the first thing I thought what 'why the hell would you cut up such a ....ooooooh' Nice bro ^^
Bloodsword
Hiaw, here is the pic for AK & paracord 101: Simple and it works well
Anton the Fox
So, I made an RK72TP
DFM56
Another project finished, with the exception of a few pins and minor decorations. Barrel components are all from a real steel type 3 milled Bulgarian AK, outer barrel is a 1018 DOM tube that I had a coworker turn for me. Dboys receiver was stripped and cold blued. Hopefully I'll have time to cut up a few real AK mags this week to convert them to midcaps.
hiawatha
Awesome Bloodsword! I might copy you with the mags there
hiawatha
Im selling all my ar related stuf and going all in on ak;s now. Having an lct im getting a cqb only gun also (probably aks) what should i look into, vfc or e&l ?
Bloodsword
Aks74u is the best choice e&l's are easier to get
hiawatha
Yeah brand New e&l or slightly used vfc i should say =) also found a rather cool ak105 PMC from vfc. Wasnt those kind of Limited back then ?
Nath
IMHO Real Sword>VFC>LCT>vast desert of nothingness>E&L>Dboys>Cyma>JG. If you are considering R&L or VFC i would say go VFC!
hiawatha
Ive been hearing the same but still some reviews state e&l as the better choice over lct.. Thanks for the help guys! Will post some pics not to far from now i hope, make up for my "blablabla"
Isamu
I personally prefer LCT over E&L, LCT takedown is more realistic, just dont know how internals compare between both Anyway, unless you need a russian looking AK, best of the best is the RS Type-wahtever you like the most
Bloodsword
A realistic takedown isnt a necessary thing I would compare between AS aks, and I dont think there is a big difference between lct and e&l what comes to takedown nor externals. Buy a gun that suits your needs, practicality is a good thing, so I suggest a short barreled gun with folding stock and polymer parts.
Yuri
From what I've seen, the one thing E&L has over LCT is the crisp selector markings. Other than that, they're pretty much the same. LCT might have nicer internals, they don't seem like that standard ACM fair. I did some stuff to my LCT 104. New suppressor and gas tube rail, stippled the foregrip. Sling is NVA:
hiawatha
So much different opinions You pretty much get a brand new E&L for the cost of a used vfc, internals aint that big of a deal i guess. Love it Yuri! My lct will look pretty much the same. What brand pbs-1 is that ? I ordered Madbulls version, should get it this week As i mentioned before i found a VFC pmc version of the ak105 with retractable stock etc. Problem is i dont want 2 104/105 now that im waiting on my lct aswell. Is is possible to get a akm/74 forend separetely for vfc ? Edited October 12, 2014 by hiawatha
Yuri
The PBS-1 is by Building Fire. I thought it was going to be made of steel when I bought it but turns out it's aluminium. I don't mind though, this way the gun is a little less front heavy. I agree that internals should not be a main concern. The thing with airsoft guns is that if it's broken on the inside, that's generally pretty cheap and easy to fix. Bad externals are very hard to fix.
sigma3
New camera = new photoshoot. LCT AIMS (now mostly converted to an MPi-KMS 72) CYMA AK105 (complete with CYMA™ Missing Rear Sight®) ICS Galil Not pictured: my new E&L AK74MN. I can say definitively that in terms of overall feel and confidence that the E&L is better than the LCT. It's heavier and feels sturdier. I hear that the LCTs have somewhat better internals. But either is a good choice and I don't think you'd regret them. You might regret an AKS-74U, though.
Katotaka
Hey guys I was messing around forums and I saw an awesome AK conversion, suddenly I felt the urge to post it here: http://www.arms-cool.net/forum/thread-157545-1-1.html It's in Chinese but I think you don't really need to read the text, I'm happy to paraphrase / translate though.
sigma3
Nice piece of work there. That feed channel looks like jam city, though!
Katotaka
The guy says feeding is smooth but sometimes magazine's winding spring gets loosen, and of coz few more BBs drop down during mag removal.
div
Another Vityaz custom, RS mag well and magazines (with mp5 mag internals). Not mine, more photos and discussion (in russian) here http://airsoftgun.ru/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=115774&start=175 Wish LCT or somebody made one, sexy thingie.
sigma3
I'm pretty sure I heard a rumor that lct is bringing one "soon."
