Lone_Bullet
I initially thought the Z-Point would look too Euro on an AK. Turned out to be a half decent stand in until I scrape up enough for a proper PK optic. *snip* Is that a real Z-point or the NCthingy clone? Does look real nice! renegadecow
Just a China clone. If I had the funds for a real Zeiss I would have just gone and bought two PKs instead. It's actually pretty OK and handles the recoil well enough but I had to replace the weak lock springs and convert it to take cr2032 batteries (was cr1620 which doesn't last very long). scorch
Any details of that conversion? Am looking to possibly get one for my GBB MP7.
renegadecow
When you take the battery cover off there's a donut shaped piece of aluminum that holds the battery in the middle and a PCB underneath. You need to screw it out first then enlarge the hole in the middle enough to take a cr2032. Then you take the cover which has contacts bridging the battery and the aluminum piece. You need to bend the outer most prongs out until they reach the aluminum piece which normally falls short from the reduced material. Real ones take cr2032 anyway which holds twice as much juice as cr1620 and have no idea why they even implemented it. Just remember to take the batteries out when not in use as it's easy to accidentally turn it on and I don't know if it has the same 4 hour auto shut down like the real one has. Also it seems to draw a little bit of power even when off as the on switch is digital so can drain a battery if binned for long. I remember the original battery only lasted a couple weeks before I found out about it. Edited September 23, 2014 by renegadecow

renegadecow
Just the regular CYMA I think. Cut the rail short so it kinda resembles a PK-AS.

hiawatha
I got a question for you guys with ze ak:s.. Been wanting one for some time but im not sure about the folding stock or the AR retractable one. Playing with AR:s, i usually have the stock in the first position from the reciever, like one click out, will the folding stock on a 104/105 lct feel too long ? Like the look of it though
Bloodsword
If you talk about the original skeleton stock on a 105, then its fine!
hiawatha
I was considering the polymer stock but i guess they are about the same length. Thank you
Bloodsword
The polymer stock is more comfortable than the metal one, of course. If you wont change the stock, then get the polymer one instead of the metal stock.

TheFull9
That's pretty much what I want to do. How does the Krebs handguard get on with the GHK?
blobface
No, no you don't. I could always install the BCM rail pieces onto the handguard before I send it to you That's pretty much what I want to do. How does the Krebs handguard get on with the GHK? 0 mod was required with that setup.
MRF
0 mod was required with that setup. ...not often situation in airsoft... Nice AK, anyway.
hiawatha
Nice Blobface!! Anyone got a nice solution for single mount slings on a 104/105 with the polymer folding stock ? And wich magpuls are fitting the ak mag? Can you stretch the 5,56 enough ?
blobface
Something a little less capitalist. Handguard, stock, grip, cobra, sling are all rs, also GHK based with aluminium nozzle and team gbb steel barrel. Edited October 5, 2014 by blobface

planeman
Handguard, stock, grip, cobra, sling are all rs, also GHK based with aluminium nozzle and team gbb steel barrel. Did you do any mods to fit the handguards. I tried fitting RS handguards but gave up when the upper handguard could not fit with the stock gas tube.
