mightyjebus
Not really an AK or a variant but it's Russian so at a push fits in this thread. G&G VSS.
Bloodsword
My Inokatsu AK105 Shortened the Ultimak 3-4 ribs, and put the Hephaestus AR-outer barrel kit on it.

abbadon101
Is that an RPG sight?
DeltaZero
Looks like it! Not going to lie.. I don't like the look of it, too tall and doesn't make sense!
Got Wood?
Is that an RPG sight? It is indeed. It doesn't sit over the rifle though, alongside it. You can use your right eye to look through the iron sights, and your left to look through the sight. Unfortunately the eye relief is a little poor, could do with sitting further back but the mount won't allow for that. I got it in a pretty poor state so it's going to be a refurb job! scorch
Is there a real steel precedent for that or just something you fancied doing?
Geri
It is actually used by some guys in real life just like this, its not looking fancy and dosn't make sanse to mee neither, but i assume that those guys are not completly dumb and did it on purpose
Got Wood?
As Geri said, it was used back during the fighting by Russian forces in Afghanistan. They used it for spotting, rather than actually firing. I was originally getting another SVD, and didn't fancy shelling out for another expensive PSO-1 so thought I'd try this and see what it's like. It's surprisingly not as bad as it looks. But I haven't had a chance to see how far off it is from lining up with shots.
scorch
Cool. Thanks for explaining that guys. My AK knowledge is weaker than I'd like.
Got Wood?
As is mine. But I'm finding my inner communist is coming out again
chas
It can actually be sighted in for a regular length AK74. Pictures and info here: http://www.theakforum.net/forums/22-optics-accessories/140549-pgo-7b-ak74-rpg-7-optic.HTML
Got Wood?
Yes, but I'll need to see if there's enough adjustment to get it to line up for Airsoft ranges of 50m. Which is 10% of what its maximum range is
thatguy404
Sorry to rape the picture thread. But how do people rate the Lct ak range? Looking at the 104... Thankoo
Alias1983
@got wood? That sight should go on a "wasteland" gun.
Katotaka
Sorry to rape the picture thread. But how do people rate the Lct ak range? Looking at the 104... Thankoo Generally speaking you simply can't go wrong with LCT. If you feel kinky(?) you can take a look at E&L AKs, they're so weird that I can feel both raw and quality in them.
Got Wood?
@got wood? That sight should go on a "wasteland" gun. Feel free to buy it when I've finished repairing it LCT are very good. Especially for the money. New Cymas seem to have a lot nicer gearbox than they used to, so are catching up with them again. I only had 1 LCT and it failed to feed quite a lot, but I out that down to being a lemon and not a representation of the guns. They've just released pictures of a new sliding stock that looks the biz
thatguy404
Hmm.I'm torn between getting an LCT, or waiting for the ERG from KWA now..as this is a picture thread..
Got Wood?
Sliding stock I mentioned:
chas
I broke the front sight on my Cyma AKM. A King Arms AK sight will not fit (to narrow, fake pins). What front sights will fit? Real Steel? Dboys? Thanks!
Isamu
Dboys should fit, I have used some dboys parts on Cyma AKs and they fitted with some persuasion. Taiwangun has some Dboys AK parts in stock labeled as "PJ", I would start looking there
Alias1983
Hmm. I'm torn between getting an LCT, or waiting for the ERG from KWA now.. as this is a picture thread.. If I was to get an aeg again(parish the thought), I'd get a no frills nothing. IMO its just more to go wrong and makes options limited.
hitmanNo2
Those sliding stocks are abominations ha ha
DeltaZero
Yup! Absolutely horrendous. Those should never ever be used!
