DanHS
I got some used AKs and parts, so I made a new Franken-AK (Frankenikov?) to use as a loaner, but I'm missing one part, the upper rear handguard cap (where the pin going through the rear sight block holds the upper handguard in place). The front set was from a CM.035. Anyone happen to have one lying around, or know of a source for one? Edited February 12, 2012 by DanHS

ERTrifleman
This thread needs more simplicity Just a CYMA, but I like my refinished handguards better than the stock redish. If anyone knows how to tighten up the underfolding stock let me know!

aznriptide859
Question, where is everyone getting RS Kobra or PKA dot sights? Got a CYMA AK104. From this: To this: Much better.
DanHS
To be honest I actually kinda liked that camo paint job, and I'm usually not a fan of painted AK's. Looks nice either way though.
WhiteHawksan
that was a good camo job. WELL DONE AZN. But it looks awesome in black too, could try stripping and going for plum on the handguards and grips ^^ Edited February 25, 2012 by WhiteHawksan
FIN-Hawkins
Very sexy aznriptide! Looks really good in black. Though not a fan of painted weapons, I have to comp the above two and say it looked pretty darn good. Nice looking blaster you have there either way. How do you like the gun overall? Solid? Internals?

Internals? Funnily enough the new paintjob made everything much more sturdier. I haven't looked at the internals yet but I'm sure they'll be decent - it's a CM031C. farfromahero
Jimmypie, what kind of mount are you using to hold the torch on there?
Jimmypie
Jimmypie, what kind of mount are you using to hold the torch on there? Just a figure 8 style barrel mount, had it for ages, very simple but very solid.
SteevoLS
Should throw that thing around more The problem with being made of high grade steel with excellent tolerances is that it is hard to actually beat it up.
SteevoLS
Needs to go in the real-steel thread, but I'll save that for a day when I can take some better pics.
