Murdoc
That's my newest project. It looks possible:
Seraphim989
That looks like a L85 trigger I hope you're making it a different colour, because that gray is blegh
tangloppen
Lovely. What gun is the Bullpup based on? Was it a hard build? Reminds me of when i made my SVU, a wonderfull fealing to make something unique.
Seraphim989
Lovely. What gun is the Bullpup based on? A M14...I don't think he's made it yet, that's a RS comparison picture
spetsnazdave87
Â That's a real bullpup M14 if you're interested Interesting project either way, best of luck! Â Edit: the large picture wasn't up when I posted, have you made that or not? Looks good!
Seraphim989
There are several different bullpup conversions for M14s. That one is the one I see most often, and is also the ugliest
tangloppen
Aye, misunderstod it, ######... If i were to build a Bullpup M14, i would go for the Kel Tec RFB. http://www.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/rifles/rfb/
jkpics
Aye, misunderstod it, ######... If i were to build a Bullpup M14, i would go for the Kel Tec RFB. http://www.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/rifles/rfb/ Â In what universe is that a M14 convertion?
Seraphim989
It's not really. They're similar in that they are both 7.62NATO bullpups, but that's about it. Same idea I suppose
Kalashnikov_kid
Motor cage may be a bugger. You might have to extend the stock.
Murdoc
No, I did't started, that's just a plan. I just bought a broken AGM stock for less than 10 USD. Stock will be cut off, then I'll gule some "acrilate resistant" foam blocks on it, and form them. At last I'll cover it with glass fiber laminate. Just camo-painting, and the rought surface remain. I plan ACOG-look like dot, RAS heat shield. I think the end of the motor cage can fit into rubber 'stock-end'.
aznriptide859
Why not go with a WE M14 and just drop it in a RS bullpup stock?
ollie_ty
Isnt the RFB more of an FN FAL bullpup?
Seraphim989
Why not go with a WE M14 and just drop it in a RS bullpup stock? Cost I'd imagine  Isnt the RFB more of an FN FAL bullpup? It uses FAL mags but the action is different
evansy
Motor cage may be a bugger. You might have to extend the stock. I had that same thought. How about using one of those adapters that G&P make for the EBR kit to change the angle of the motor.
UrPeaceKeeper
When I saw the title to this thread I instantly thought of the Morita Smart Rifle, but then I remembered it was based off of the Mini14's action (specifically the AR556 IIRC), not the M14's.... It would be interesting to do a Morita with an M14 action though!
Murdoc
I had that same thought. How about using one of those adapters that G&P make for the EBR kit to change the angle of the motor. The extra length will be less than 0,5 cm. As you see on my M14 woodstock plan(I built that weapon, so plan is absolutly OK), the end of the motor cage is about at the end of the bullpup stock. I found a same variation(AWC G2A(?)) with 30 rounders. I use one high cap 30' mag too... The scope, and even the mount looks ugly. I'll use RAS, and ACOG(fake ACOG-dot) instead... Murdoc
So I need to cheat 0,5-1 cm...
renegadecow
Just put on a thicker butt pad and call it an accessory.
judgeman
If there was some way (anyway you could, or want to) go for the high score I have some KA L1A1 magazines I could donate to the project. I like the rifle in the first pic, looks very....eighties for some reason.
Murdoc
If there was some way (anyway you could, or want to) go for the high score I have some KA L1A1 magazines I could donate to the project. I like the rifle in the first pic, looks very....eighties for some reason. Thanx, that's kind... but it will be bullpup M14, not FN-FAL/SLR... It will be bit more modern with "railed" heat shield(no side rails, just one on the top)...
Paul 8v
Nice, I didn't even know there was a bullpup M14!
BFOUR
Its not so much a Bullpup M14 as it is a Bullpup kit for an M14. Its just a chassis system. Look forward to seeing this project progress.
Paul 8v
Do the US military use any other Bullpups? What unit were the guys in Spetsnaz Dave's picture, look like Marines but not sure if they're FR Marines or normal
Murdoc
I guled the main foamblocks, some small ones will come too...
