danielsilva
So as you may know last Thursday the WE M16 VN rifle was released. More pictures @ http://www.arms-cool.net/forum/thread-89295-1-1.html And it's now available from Ra-tech for $333 !! http://en.ratech.com.tw/product/html/agent_product/gas_product/we/ra_at_g_we_detail/ra_at_g_we040.php http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30sGb4gWZpg It seems the AR series will have the same hopup adjustment system as the L85 ... at least it looks like it's easily accessible from the ejection port. blablabla
looks good I must say, Is that an A2 profile barrel/thickness ? Or is that because of the angle of the pics ? I also like how the gas opening in the bolt carrier assembly is slightly tilted to insure a good seal and good seal on the opening in the mag, In the past with my WOC I thought this was a rather bad design, it was completely horizontal, so the slightest misalignment would result in gas escaping,
demoncase
DO A BARREL ROLL!!!! Oh dear God YES!!! Inbound on a hot LZ, purple haze streaming in the breeze of the napalm strike on the treeline, lock and load, 36 and a goddamn wake-up, too short for this *suitcase* awesome. Or, translated, I'm rather chuffed that this has been released

St Matt
Not sure about the barrel thickness, it looks ok to me but the stock looks more like its off an A2, it looks a little long perhaps? Still all in all it looks pretty dam good to me and maybe a real A1 stock will bolt straight on?
Maekl
Oh please I know why they call it "open bolt" but they shouldnt because that means it would shoot from open bolt like an uzi or m11. But still, pretty damn cool. If I ever buy a GBBR it will likely be this.
BaggyPants
I'm not understanding why they went to all the effort of making it fire off an open bolt, when the real thing fires of a closed bolt
LordElpus
I'm not understanding why they went to all the effort of making it fire off an open bolt, when the real thing fires of a closed bolt Because they got tired of people bitching about the brass cover over the bolt? Maekl
Thing is, that it does NOT fire from open bolt. It fires from CLOSED bolt. They call it open bolt, because the brass tube is gone, thus the "bolt" is "open". So the term theyre using simply is wrong and misleading.
ratboy44
has anyone emailed them about release dates in the uk yet? or are folks just getting them from overseas?
faramon
I shall probably get it from Redwolf once it comes out on there ... or from RA tech with an Npas fitted

Forget real steel term and accept that open bolt in airsoft means that the bolt is not obscured. sorry TQM?? Tactical Quartermaster
Wingmann
If it's going to be an A1 it needs an A1 birdcage flashider. Modifying the rifle for that early three-prong flashider would take quite longer... but still good news
ratboy44
thanks for those who posted TQM reply feel like a dumbass now!
