cazboab
AEG piston heads are all interchangeable apart from the TM uzi from back on the day and anything that has an air break. Personally I'd go with a prometheus or deepfire metal piton head cos it makes a nicer sound to me.
Docv400
AEG piston heads are all interchangeable... Not quite. The 'stub' on the back of the head (that mates with the hole in the front of the piston, to align the two parts), is usually 5mm, but there are some 6mm ones around as well. It's easy enough to open up the hole in the piston to take a larger head stub, but if you have a 6mm hole, and fit a head with a 5mm stub, the head can end up misaligned slightly. Not a huge problem, but can possibly lead to compression loss. Whatever you go for, try to get one that has a slight angle on the rear face of the o-ring groove. They create a better seal due to the o-ring being forced outwards during the firing stroke.
