-wigs-
Does the burnt bronze have some metallic to it like the finish lwrc uses ?
Philbucknall
Not overly sure to be honest but I think it looks purdy whatever!
uscmCorps
Does the burnt bronze have some metallic to it like the finish lwrc uses ? Â LWRCi has gone through a lot of different finishes on their FDE rifles. Their first batch was more a cross between cerakote FDE and Patriot Brown. It was a nice flat finish. Then they went with an anodized looking finish which was much more like Cerakote Burnt Bronze. Now their finish looks more like Patriot Brown. Definitely not metallic appearance. MRF
In this natural light conditions and without descent artificial lighting I can't do more. Please forgive me, I'm not Stickman. Â Â Edit: moved to flickr.com. Looks better now. Edited November 6, 2012 by MRF

uscmCorps
Damn it. Now the color looks awesome again. *sigh* Can you take some outdoor pics? So the question is ... LaRue PredatAR in Patriot Brown, Tungsten, or Tactical Grey? Arrrggghhh!!!
MRF
Sure I can and actually I need that myself, just need some time. If this can help You, Patriot Brown looks weird only in some artificial lighting, but I think it's common - its daylight outdoor appearance is the best this color can offer. Â Edit: It's just like Magpul DE - in sunlight it's more yellow, in cloudy day it looks more greenish, but still it's brown to me . MRF
Oooook. I'm going to some evening shooting right now, so I think it will be ultimate test for my paint job. Specially I don't used to treat my replica very gently .
Katotaka
Love the different shades of grey brown! Â uscmCorps, LaRue PredatAR in Shimmer Gold or Ti color would be very cool, along with some grey furniture ( try robbing someone with BCM AR or wait retail products form Magpul )

MRF
Ivan, I wonder if you had any trouble with mounting this FH ? Because I've got the same, and only outer barrel threading it fits, is main part of Element steel two piece outer barrel. Â As for Cerakote - not a scratch noted after first game.
