In any case, I love the effect it's had; sort of like a grain down wood. For the recoil, I just took out the innards, took them all out onto the road outside, put my boot on them, and dragged them back and forth! The WE mags didn't get the same treatment. Weren't quite as easy to replace if they went wrong! I was fairly happy with both guns. Sadly had to sell them both. -wigs- Posted February 22, 2015 Report Share Posted February 22, 2015 Not cerakote just OD green rustoleum camo spray paint. That way if needed I can strip is back to black or change up the paint. Mind you I did 4 coats and cook them with a heat gun after each coat. Realy helps the paint stick and not wear as fast. In my opinion the grip is fine - there seems to be no "correct" one as there are plenty of photos of the real gun with various grips factory installed (A1, A2, etc.).
