SLR 8" SBR build done. Just waiting for a few accessories (sling end plate, AAC Blast Shield, Cloud Defensive LCS, and an actual working ScoutLight head) and repairing my BTC Spectre, but otherwise al

Hey all! I kind of stumbled upon this thread by accident while searching for M16A2 receiver markings on google and saw one of Catgut's amazing VT's. Which brought me here I have been working on

One of my latest build, a real Colt M16A1 converted for GBBR on the WA system. Stripped upper, barrel and BCG was changed to Viper Tech du to my local laws. Also a video of how it was made:

Quick question, anyone have much experience with the big dragon aac suppressor?

Looking to get one for an upcoming mk18 and spr build

I owned one, but shorter - it's M4-2000 variant, am I right?

Can itself looks very good. Yes, it's not the same quality as PTS, but good. Great, considering the price. But flash hider is was really badly machined, I mean prongs were not symmetrical. FH also didn't have any trades.

Another issue was that parts were not properly aligned against each other. At least mine were, perhaps it's random.

Accidentaly I still have some photo of it:

Random photos...these are ProWin v2's with plates from some of my old magazines (they don't feed any more so I figured it'll be interesting to see them used again on my airsoft magazines). Long ago, some of my AR15 uppers could only shoot .223 Remington and not 5.56, so the magazine was marked .223. My original Colt Sporter actually came with a UI magazine...seem I also liked Adventure Line as I have a ton of those.

Out dated but I love my SPR's. These aren't very good airsoft guns, but I mostly shoot at empty tomato cans in my back yard these days which they seem to be more than capable of doing (and I find it fun when I get bored).

Old NF recon scope...also a bit outdated now

Current version of the Lupy TS-30A2...unfortunately, utterly useless for airsoft.

@mrf, do u think the pts flashhider would work well with the big dragon suppressor piece ?

I was searching for an opportunity to check this out, but ultimately I didn't have any because of the lack of PTS AAC FH. Now I even own full set of PTS AAC Mini, but... I don't have access to BD AAC can ;).

@MRF and everyone else: thanks! I plan on picking one up each, for the m4 and spr versions since the pts have been out of stock everywhere I've looked...just gotta find a place that will ship stateside with hopefully no issues. As of lately it seems harder to find something once it comes out and then stops being made or dicontinued and then the prices SKYROCKET to like crazy!!

Not yet ! I would have by now but being a student means I'm poor, living pot noodle to pot noodle each week...

There are many different definitions of "being poor", You know that, don't Ya?

But those pot noodles... Yeah, I remember that... That illusion of eating something ;).

AR picture thread, yes, of course! Speaking of Cerakote

(I like this picture...)
