SLR 8" SBR build done. Just waiting for a few accessories (sling end plate, AAC Blast Shield, Cloud Defensive LCS, and an actual working ScoutLight head) and repairing my BTC Spectre, but otherwise al

Hey all! I kind of stumbled upon this thread by accident while searching for M16A2 receiver markings on google and saw one of Catgut's amazing VT's. Which brought me here I have been working on

One of my latest build, a real Colt M16A1 converted for GBBR on the WA system. Stripped upper, barrel and BCG was changed to Viper Tech du to my local laws. Also a video of how it was made:

It does look cool indeed but yeah, not very tactical.  Even against fictional zombies.  If you've gone loud, then *fruitcage* it, it doesn't matter.  But you would want to be as camouflaged as possible at all times imo.  You're likely to be against Human threats too.  So, do you want to be seen on not mate heh.

I'm pretty sure the whole concept is a blend of prepping, airsoft, taking lots of shooting classes and gear whoring, with some movie fantasy stuff thrown in.  Comes across like the ideal fantasy world where only certain areas are zombified and the rest of the world is still functioning like normal.  That way you can get geared up and well stocked on supplies easily, hop on your fuelled and serviced blackhawk to drop in to the Z-Zone, merk a few walkers then hop back home to the safe area for a slap up steak and strippers.

I'm building a similar loadout myself...

It's not for blending in .. I'll use it in CQB games .

Many players wear black tshirt, jeans and a CB vest with helmet.. You know PMC style but I don't want that.

This ZERT scheme looks great.

I'll try it out soon.

So I'm trying to decide what to do, getting tired of the rail but it's the best one to get access to the hopup.

Ghk has strange lengths for outer barrels, my 10.5 is actually a 9.5 ish.

I'm wanting to make it a 12.5 but the only way extension pieces with an inner barrel stabilizer are 1.5" long.

I'm planning to use the TNT kit which actually ups the fps because of its superior seal.

Iirc the devilhunter mod will up the fps but I can't get a definitive average of the increase.

If I use a standard nozzle some say with this combo i could be over the 400fps limit.

For a 12.5" barrel I think I'm set on a Troy 11" mlok, it uses a milspec barrel nut but the ghk one should work so I don't have to re thread the upper.

I just wish the Troy rail was an 11.5, and I hope I can poke at the hopup through the rail.

Is there any airsoft m lok rails that use an Milspec barrel nut?
